  1. “Huge shot discrepancy in this game again”

The overall game play and game plan so far this season is not sustainable. Something has to change if we want long term success over the season and a fighting chance to make the playoffs.

  2. Our offensive game is absolutely terrible. We have been out shot in every game. I knew when we let Ghost walk we were going to have a rough year offensively. Ghost would QB our fowards and very effective on PP and 5×5. Edvinsson and Johansson won't put up a combined 50+ points to make up for Ghost. Larkin, Kane Raymond, DaCat are the only fowards capable of putting up points. If our offensive is going to get out shot every game, Yzerman might as well bring up Danielson. Maybe he can put some points on the board. He's a playmaker. Im simply disappointed in our team right now. Thats why i wanted to resign Ghost. The guy created a ton of offensive.

  3. Best Highlights on the web!!! Thanks @awood40!
Wings showed so grit tonight. It looks like they are starting to find their game.
Penalty Kill needs some work still.
    Power Play started clicking.
Raz finally using some of that size.

Fun game to watch. Still early season, but the Wings are winning games and starting to compete!

  4. watching awood reminds me of watching fox 2 news in the morning as a child to get the result of the red wings as a child. thank you for the consistency after all of these years.

  5. How did Dillon get 2 and 5? Should have been either 2 and 5 for Det or even 5s. How can the guy who got hit from behind get called for roughing? That's pretty messed up. (yes, I know he put himself in a bad position, but Fischer also threw elbow and hand to push his head into the boards, so still think it could have been a fair call for roughing).

  6. I loved how Ras stood over Hughes on that empty net goal, but don't understand why he backed away while the other guys were pushing each other. Would have preferred he stand his ground.

  7. If only the Wings got a baby faced, league loved 1st round media darling, then the refs would make sure that we get all the 'calls' needed to win games.
I'm surprised Mo isn't one of those guys. He has a baby face and flowing locks. Mo isn't a crying wuss baby tho. Thank God for that!
We don't need ref-puck's help to win. Wings vs everybody!!
