Texas Rangers owe it to Corey Seager, Marcus Semien to keep title window open as long as possible
The Texas Rangers won their franchise’s first World Series championship in 2023 led by star free agent signings Corey Seager, Marcus Semien and Nathan Eovaldi.
The Rangers are indicating this winter their top priority is getting under the luxury tax, rather than doing whatever it takes to back to the playoffs in 2025. Rangers owner Ray Davis in making that decision will handcuff POBO Chris Young from being able to compete for a championship again any time soon.
With a healthy Jacob deGrom, Marcus Semien and Corey Seager all in their primes 2025 could be a year where the Rangers have a great shot to win the second World Series in franchise history.

I still can't believe rangers won last season just look at the Yankees and dodgers rosters of this world series can we said rangers are behind those teams. Rangers need to get busy this off season, I will be disappointed if they bring the same team. We need a catcher and a dh and a starting pitcher
Brice, what is this "championship window" you speak of? Last October the team got into the tournament by the skin of their teeth and then for 17 games were unbelievably good. FOR 17 GAMES!! In their last TWO HUNDRED AND SIXTY FOUR regular season games, the team has a .485 winning percentage. Championship window? That's delusional.
