  1. Well, time to grow up, scooter boy. It's funny how it went from physical injury to now a mental thing, which is ok and harder to fix. But let's put players in the lineup that can play.

  2. That penalty he drew last game where he did the between the legs deke in the slot…..that was a really good sign for me. That was vintage Petey. That was a really good thing to see.

  3. I believe in Petey's skill and his hockey IQ. Despite questioning his physical and mental resolve to overcome adversity to get his "compete" going again, I am sincerely a fan and hopeful for him. He has to know he is an integral part of our team and that although we as fans are not going to simply let him dial it in as far as game and "compete" effort- we will truly respect, celebrate, and honor him when he finds his game again as the overall team success depends on it. Bottomline, Canadian hockey fans respect and revere a warrior (that is why I am and always will be a fan of the hockey careers of Rick Tocchet, Adam Foote, and Sergei Gonchar). Let's see some of that Viking blood, Petey!

  4. How funny would it be if OEL kissed his ring while playing Vancouver later this year? He’s too classy for something like that, but it would remind me of the Chappelle’s Show Wayne Brady sketch

  5. We all want EP40 to get back to form and be the player we all know he can be. If he does, the team is better for it. It's up to him though. He's a professional hockey player getting paid A LOT of $$. Athletes & celebrities receive praise when they perform well and they get scrutiny when things go sideways. It's part of the job. The spotlight won't go away so he can either step up or step off. EP40 has been struggling since last February, including the playoffs. No one expects him to score every night but it is expected he show up and be noticeable in a positive way. I hope he regains his form…soon.
