I'd be happy if this series ends in a sweep.
If they go out and sign Burnes or Fried and use their prospect capital to trade for a big bat, I would be happy. I know it keeps being mentioned because it’s a talking point, but Juan Soto isn’t leaving NY. If Yankees don’t cough up the money he wants, Steve Cohen certainly is going to be doing everything he can to sign him. He’s the owner every team wants as he doesn’t care about how much it costs. In meantime i’ll continue to be positive that Jed will do what it takes to get this team back in the postseason and if he doesn’t we will all be wishing him luck in his next gig wherever that may be.
