Miami Heat: Should they pursue PJ Tucker? | Five on the Floor

The Miami Heat were reportedly (according to The Athletic) connected to LA Clippers’ forward PJ Tucker recently and trade conversations were mentioned. Greg Sylvander and Brady Hawk address those rumors. They guys then pivot and take a closer look at the Heat as a defensive team and discuss ways they can improve on that end internally vs Charlotte on Saturday and beyond.

  1. No…. Like, why? I mean, I think they will probably go after him, because all the Heat seem to understand is familiarity.

For once, I would like to see this team look to the future instead of the past. How much is the oldest, most undersized 4 in the league really going to help?

  2. Love PJ Tucker, but who's minutes is he going to take? Highsmith? Jovic? It benefits Miami to keep those young guys on the court. I think Miami needs to seriously consider pivoting away from Jimmy and the veteran players on the current roster, and start the new chapter with this young core of players.
