Im not worried about the leafs record at all during the regulr season, Clearly giving 100% and burning themselves out durng an 82 game season and going for 110 pts didnt work. Then you had teams like Montreal , Columbus, come in and sweep them out the first round when they did nothing absolutely all year… The regular season standings mean NOTHING as long as they get in the playoffs, which they will . All leafs fans should care about it come playoff time theyre winning. Period . The Playoffs is an entirely different style game then the regular season montreal showed that aganst the leafs they had horrible record , but they had guys built for the playoffs and were able to grind toronto out. That should be the focus not getting 100 pts in a season

Well I'm glad they don't want him but the problem is what team does at $3M AAV. I wouldn't expect getting much back for him.
