  1. When Jerry threatened a reporter's job because he didn't like the question, he lost me forever! I don't want to hear about him. I must have been watching at a different game where Purdy was concerned…He fought threw adversity and won! He is fun to watch mainly because you and Nick Wright intensely dislike him. 😂😂😂

  2. What I Want: McCarthy gone, Zimmer to take over, either make it all about Dak or play the back-ups the rest of the way but really, get rid of the head coach, it's time; Dak is a back-up quarterback and I know Jerry wanted those guys to fix their mess but they are wallowing in dysfunctional football. It's not about the owner, it's about guys not being able to play their position at the professional level. You have an inaccurate quarterback and a guy who should be an offensive coordinator that's your head coach and most defensive coordinators find the Cowboys easy to defend.

Around the League: I honestly love watching Jameis Winston because you know he's going to mess up 100 times in a game and NEVER give you a shot to win but will pull a rabbit out of his helmet. I love watching the Arizona Cardinals because that's the ONLY team in the NFL that comes to the field NOT TRYING TO WIN and yet they are 4-4 with an 'Eff-It' mentality, they literally play football like they are not seriously trying to win games. The Raiders are just bad and Jacksonville is crying out for help while the Titans want more talent to be a better team. Who takes the Jets seriously? It's good to see teams like the Chargers and Rams at least perform solid and what about Seattle? I mean that team makes eating breakfast hard … I've never seen a team that makes putting on their uniforms a strategic task. I still don't trust Detroit's head coach, he'll wind up doing something foolish in a critical playoff game to cost his team. I believe in Washington and Chicago makes the worst decisions from the sideline yet they do not know how good they are; the Falcons are for real and the Bills are in a bad division …. The Eagles have everything easy but they act like they go through tribulations, which is annoying and the Ravens/Browns game is proof that Baltimore will not make it to the Super Bowl this season — you cannot lose that game if you want to be taken seriously.

I don't mind a team losing but at least try hard, be professional, and give yourself a shot to win by doing the fundamental things from every position in a basic manner — you are all professional players and coaches, just keep it basic and the talent will shine all the time…and yet, nobody gets it. Amazing.

  3. It's embarrassing being a fan of this team. Our head coach is Mike McCarthy.. He's also our OC. Our DC is Mike Zimmer.. Our GM is 82 years old..

We have dinosaurs for coaches and a GM. Especially when you compare them to the better teams around the league (minus KC). Younger minds, youthful motivators, people that are actually gonna discipline the players when they screw up. This is a damn joke

  4. Watching the Niners today (and the last several weeks), this is the first time since the start of the 2019 season where I no longer feel they're the best team in the NFC. I think Detroit owns that spot presently. I put the Niners with the Eagles, Vikings, Packers and Commanders a notch below. The Rams, Bears and Falcons remain dangerous teams, especially the Rams if they get healthy. That said, I'd like to revisit the lay of the land in a few weeks should CMC and Greenlaw return…and a possible Hargrave return near season's end. If no further injury disasters strike them, getting those 3 back might put them on a par with the Lions.

  5. If you're not throwing the odd interception, you're probably not trying hard enough. But Prescott just kills any momentum with really ill timed interceptions. There are a lot of great quarterbacks that will throw interceptions but they can also throw dimes and bring their teams back. Prescott does not have that ability. He can only play with a lead.

  6. Colin, you used to be erudite and nuanced in your analysis, but you now heavily skew your takes on athletes and teams in comparison to others.

Instead of hearing a compelling argument and breakdown, it feels like a litany of lists of how a team or person does or doesn't stack up against others. If I saw a review of a new Spielberg movie that primarily judged its merits based on how it stacked against Spielberg's other films, that would be unhelpful and petty.

I implore you to move away from the compare and contrast via rankings and exist outside a binary world of this hot take versus that hot take.

  7. The Niners secondary has 1 year of experience between the two safeties and our 3rd CB is a rookie. The LBs are missing Greenlaw. And the line is without Hargrave for the duration. Knocking the pass rush because Bosa is by himself is just more Anti-Niner bias.

  8. You guys are idiots. Purdy misses a few passes and he sucks? Look at every other QB and they are worse, but Purdy has to be perfect. Caleb sucks, Lawrence sucks, Mahomes has been worse this year but Purdy is mid?

  9. Someone drug test Colin. Brock played awful and is basically the same as Dak. No… Brock played fine and Dak didn’t. Dak is light years better than Dak is now or has ever been. Period. Get over it Colin.

  10. No one is worse at comparing players as Cowherd , to say Purdy and Dak are comparable is insane , Purdy has a quick release and sees field very good and is way quicker and avoiding pass rushers , Colin cowherd is awful and thank God he is not a scout and this ex scout cringes Everytime cowherd evaluates a player .

  11. This was probably the Cowboys best chance to beat the 49ers and Dak just gives an ordinary performance as a player who is the highest paid guy in the history of the game

  12. If San Fran can just stay healthy and weather the storm til everybody comes back. CMC, Greenlaw, Hufanga, Jauan jennings. They can be dangerous in the back end of the season

  13. Stafford is garbage without his weapons, suddenly he gets them : Cowherd: "He's top two QB in the league"
Do you think he'll be that kind to Purdy when he actually gets all his weapons back?
