Can we even call it embarrassing? At this point, after this many years, its just normal. How many last minute failures are we gonna have before its our turn? See you guys next week to either beat up on a weak team or lose in an embarrassing way.
Everybody wants to crown them when they win three straight. Everyone wants to fire the coaches or trade players when they lose ugly. Reality says: 4-3. Move on…

This loss is exactly what the Bears needed. A gut punch, an embarrassment of a loss. This needs to light a fire starting from the coaches down to 3 stringers. We needed to be humbled cause those 3 straight wins were nice but didnt prove our validity in this league. Today is a setback, learn from the losses & wins.
Everything falls at the feet of your teams leader, the HC! From QB1's bad showing for 3 qts, bad OL play, bad playcalling at critical times, bad discipline with all the penalties, OC head scratching play calls at goal line situations. etc-etc. At least Flus still have all his 3 timeouts to use during the press conference instead of gathering his gassed up defense to make sure everybody is on the same page for the last 2 defensive stands or 6 seconds. Like I said before, really good DC, suspect at being a HC. Plenty of blames and problems, coaching should not be one of them.

Bears HC Eberflus and OC Waldron are frauds

Bears are lucky commanders kicked fgs all game and had tds called back on penalties or game would if been way out if reach anyway. Almost lucked into a victory but the better team won.
What is embarrassing is that Washington did not win this game by 20 or more points. The Bears are not in the same league as Washington and if it were not for mental mistakes, dropped passes and referees that seemed determined to keep the Bears in the game, it would have been a beat down. In that quest for ratings and the all mighty dollar the NFL instructed the refs to keep it close so people wouldn't change the channel by halftime.
I would also like to thank the Bears management for drafting Caleb Williams, AKA Mitch Trubisky 2.0 first overall and clearing the way for the Redskins to draft Jayden Daniels number two overall. I think I will be thanking the Bears a lot over the next 15 years like Chiefs fans thank the Bears for Patrick Mahomes.
