Tennessee Titans WON’T FIRE Colt Anderson, Reasons For Optimism & Will Levis Injury News

The Tennessee Titans had one of the worst special teams performances in team history against the Detroit Lions, but head coach Brian Callahan said he will not be firing special teams coach Colt Anderson. While that seems like the wrong decision, there are valid reasons for Callahan’s explanation that show how it is everyone’s fault. Also, while it is hard to see it right now, Tyler believes the Titans are on the right track and there are a lot of reasons for optimism like the improved offensive line and explosive plays on offense.   1. Can a HC fire himself? If so, Callahan should fire Colt Anderson 1st then himself. Maybe we will hire someone with experience and has a clue about coaching in the NFL.

  11. Like the guys on commentary said yesterday. The rest of this season is about finding the little wins in every game. And showing improvement week by week. The lions were in our position a few years ago. We’re not gonna win many games. But we need to get the details

  12. I wouldn't have fired him either. We pointed out during roster construction that a lot of the main special teamers were released for more expected production guys. That was a mistake. We're also 7 games into the 1st season. You can't show distrust in the staff less than halfway thru. Everyone is gelling on this team from the players to the coaches. The kinks need to be worked out. I'm on board with it. I'd be ok with them assigning an assistant to help out. Now if this continues on for another year or more then yes, fire him.

  14. I tried telling everyone when it was Vrabel and it’s the same now. These guys hire their friends, not just Vrabel, and guys they trust and they aren’t firing them at the first sign of danger 8 weeks into a lost season. The optics is what no fans want to consider. You can’t just Russian roulette coaches and then expect to replace them with good talent. What kind of idiot would come to Tennessee take over the worst ST unit in the league that just got one of the HC best friends fired in a mere 7 games? No one worth a shit that’s who lol

  17. I’ve said it since we got Stoney and everyone wants to argue with me. He takes too long to get the ball out and when he doesn’t it has no hangtime. These weren’t issued with a Kern and wouldn’t be now I believe that. Stoney is all leg right now.

  18. Regardless if we should get rid of everyone (imo it would be stupid after 1 season even if its been volatile) we need that top draft pick rooting for the panthers this week.

  21. I don't care anymore about anything related to this team, gut it and rebuild. My best friend is a Lions fan and after all the years I teased him about the Lions, I was eating poop before the game even started.
