  1. people that grew up in the Pete Carrol era were lucky to have great football for as long as they have, I remember the hawks being terrible after Mike Holmgren in those in between years when Pete got hired. I grew up with the Matt Hasselbeck and Shaun alexander and even those seasons weren't the best. People got to realize that this is a different team than what they grew up watching even with the same problems. Fairweather fans are going to cry about it but gotta let the coaching and players get adjusted to each other. Learning a new scheme takes time and not just one training camp or offseason.

  2. Hawks get smoked by every contender they play… then fans think the hawks are good when they beat the panthers and inflate their stats.

Guess what happens when geno when he doesnt have dk inflate his stats and make him look good!.. this!!!!!

  3. I’m sorry but I’m looking at one guy who certainly seems to not give a rats patoot about his team. The COACH. he shows no interest in coaching. No inspiration, no support. It all comes down FROM the coach as to the teams performance. I’m sorry that DK didn’t play but all that showed was how lackluster the Hawks are

  4. the need for an effective gm was highlit last night – again. the no-line still stinks. the legion of boom is still the legion of yawn. still require a replacement for russ. the special teams did their job, at least – except for the return team. and the coaching staff isn't. sigh

  5. You got the 4th down wrong. Williams stepped on genos feet and made him fall. The missed snap was on our drive when we were 1st or 2nd and 5 to goal. Could have been 14 points right there and the whole fame would look different

  6. This game was so one sided it should be investigated for gambling. When the ball got snapped that high in the air it reminded me of the first play of our Super Bowl victory against the Broncos. Why were the Bills such a Superior team? Are their players that much more talented? I know rain was a factor for both teams. How did Buffalo receivers get so wide open in our secondary? It seems this game would cause a coach to blow his top. The bills out played out hustled, out coached and out everythinged the hawks. Head scratcher? Maybe too much family time for some of the players during the week caused them not to be focused? Forgot how to play at home. It appears DK is so valuable to this team. Lost without him. Defense better go back to the basics. Over thinking schemes and not playing fast.

  7. Stop with the “flop” garbage on the roughing the QB penalty. hall hit the QB helmet to helmet well AFTER the ball was thrown away. “An errant throw followed by a late hit aided by theatrics”? Did you even watch the game?

  8. So when do we finally invest in the oline? 1 rushing yard in the first half is pathetic. K9 is a good back. He’d average 100+ yards a game if he were on a team like the chiefs

  9. I don't know if it was lack of discipline or that this team doesn't have the "eye of the tiger" or whatever you want to call it. It seems like they save their worst mistakes for the most pivotal games. They wilt under pressure. The mental makeup of many players on this team is concerning. There are very few NFL teams that are as swingy as this team. If MM is worth his salt as a coach he tries to improve this aspect of the team.

  10. To much emotion, the difference between winning and losing is closer then is realized. Give the Bill's credit, they executed a gameplan even absorbing penalties they are well coached with a deeper roster quality. The Seahawks had no depth in their play or able to run the ball, they self destructed but do it all in one game. The good thing is there is a game next week.

  11. I wonder if the players actually respect Macdonald and the coaching staff. Mike Macdonald acknowledged in the post game conference that we were out coached yet I wonder how fans can justify what we just saw. We saw players playing for themselves and not for their team. Almost as if the players gave up on the team halfway through the game. Do they not know what it means to be a Seahawk and to be part of this organization? This was sad.

  12. There was so much going on in this game. My hope is Tyler Lockett is hurt and being a gamer. My fear is that he is washed and is just old now and doesn’t have the speed anymore. To all the people shouting about trading DK, I hope you all understand this is what the team would look like without him. He is literally the only deep threat on the team and draws double coverage every play. I think we need to add another receiver with top end speed who can add the deep threat along with DK. And Can we please draft some good offensive linemen? It’s painful to watch them at times but when you lead the league in pass attempts, what do you expect? it’s not like the other teams don’t know we are passing 70% of the time.

Defense can’t stop the run and doesn’t seem to be able to defend the middle of the field. Tackling is worse than I can remember in forever.

Special teams punt return should have their own clown music playing every time they take the field. How many punts does #33 need to muff before someone else gets a shot? Wow

In the last 2 years the Ravens and the Bills gave us a beating like Sunday.

  13. The snap over his head actually happened on a second and goal on the previous drive that lead us to settling for a field goal. Connor Williams accidentally tripping Geno is what lead to the turn over on downs. Both comedically bad and pivotal momentum killers. Those two and Hall roughing the passer on the red zone stop were monumental. Without those it could have been potentially Seahawks 14 Bills 10 which could have played out into a different game. Those are some pretty big IFs though

  14. I guessed it would be a Bills win, yet a more close one, But not that our 'Hawks would be F'd in the A like this. Weird, a defensive-minded HC got replaced because the defensive steadily declined over the years by another defensive-minded coach who had created a #1 defense when he was DC on another team, but the defense is still awful, despite featuring a couple of really good players. There are some mid-1990s Seahawks vibes about this team, even though it might be not quite as bad.

  15. I was thinking about it last night. I just couldn't get over the fact how seattle lost against buffalo.
Thinking about it when Schneider and organizations mutually agreed to part ways with carroll and they hired Macdonald to coach. When Macdonald put his staff together it was a couple week before the nfl combine, free agency and draft. Usually teams have their plans set on who they want to go after in the draft and free agency. But i get the sense that seattle has been behind the 8 ball with plans for who they want or who they go after. I am starting to believe that Macdonald let Schneider do his normal thing when it comes to free agency, and the draft. The games seem like Macdonald is trying to play catch up with this team and coaching players who aren't a fit with Macdonald and grubb schemes. It no excuse for their play but I could see that if they are playing catch up it affect a franchise. Plus other than Leslie Frazier, most of the coaching staff is in their first couple years. With washington commanders they have a more experience coach tree with DQ who has done it before. So firing Macdonald who is still learning on the job wouldn't work.
With grubb when you look at UW scheme is that they had YAC guys who were shifty but also can block. They used shifts and motions. Problems is they don't they have a Polk or McMillian. Plus the two years UW had grubb they had a top 5 oline in college football. If you look at penix in UW he had time to throw in each game. With Kingsbury in NFL it took most of the year before he started settling in as a HC which grubb isn't HC he an OC. Problem is how hinder is grubb scheme with a terrible oline and receivers who can't block. Honestly you can't turn over a roster of pro carroll players in one year to pro Macdonald. It reminds me when they went from a brian shottenheimer scheme to waldron scheme. It took a full year.
But with seattle they have an level they can go. Yes you can tell some players aren't bought in but other than trading them their not much you can do. So I believe they need to do two things one is that if they lose to the rams they need look at every position see whose fully bought in and who isn't. Than at the end of season get rid of them and get players who will play the right way. Also the other thing is that while geno isn't the reason why seattle getting embarrassed we have to figure if this is a one yr project or multi year project. Is he worth 50 mil playing the way he did last night. With the talent and coaching Im optimistic you just don't blow it up. Plus Honestly if seattle beats the rams and niners us fans we be speaking differently. I just feel this lost could change the team for the better or it change it for the worst. Also i just know that us fans are finally hearing the stuff that came out when Sherman, kam etc played. They fought each other. Like I have said it a year of growing pains us fans need to be patient which is difficult. Other than the buffalo lost most loses showed that seattle can score points but us fans need to wait til end of season and see what changes. I just keep coming to something Macdonald said is that they are in the infancy of building this team. What if he meant that right now he doesn't have the right players to run both his scheme and grubb scheme. So right now patience is needed

  16. The Seahawks are like a box of chocolates. You never know what you’re gonna get. I just hope we don’t get another one like yesterday’s. Mike Macdonald needs to lay down the law. Heads should roll this week! Geno’s childish antics need to stop! I have no respect for him. Reed was right that Hall needed to be told what a stupid mistake that was. But take it up with him in the locker room. I felt bad for the young players that were trying to make things happen, especially K9. Ran back to get the ball that was hiked a mile back and turned up field to try to get something! Do these older players not care about putting forth their best effort? Winning? Or only to collect a paycheck? I know the Bills are a good team, but we could have done better. Coaches need to do better too.

  17. I wasn't expecting a win here, Bills are one of the best teams in the league, I would've been very surprised to see us win, but I expected a dogfight in this one, instead the hawks were just the dog that cowered in the corner while they get beat up on. My hope for this team was something similar to the start of the LoB, have struggles but at the end of the year really show what they can do, of course I wasn't expecting anything like the LoB to show up from it, but honestly, I'm struggling to have faith in that anymore, for the last week I was hoping that the falcons game was the start of showing what this team can do, damn was I wrong. Maybe they can prove my previous thoughts right, but I'm not putting any money on it

  18. I’m not calling for anybody’s job, but we’re actually getting worse if we don’t get significantly better by the end of the year, I think we need to seriously question making some changes.
I don’t think these guys are buying in.

  19. Theres honestly nothing more boring than watching a team that just CANNOT stop the run OR the quick passing game. Why even send 5 if the flat is wide open every single time? I dont get it.

  20. If you don’t like hearing people bringing up Pete and saying “bring Pete back”, you should do the same NOT mentioning Pete and stop blaming Pete for this mess. Stop saying Mike inherited this team and this is Pete’s team, hence this is the mess Pete started. Like you should take your own advice and let the whole Pete thing go. Stop blaming Pete for this dumpster fire. I hate when people do the opposite of what they preach. One thing you guys conveniently forget is JS hired Mike cuz Mike was supposed to be this defensive genius who could turn any defensive player into an elite. So in theory it should not matter what he inherited he should still be able to turn this defense into atleast a better one or above average defense with players we currently have. But so far this defense looks exactly or worse than Pete’s…that’s a fact. And players we have are not even that bad…witherspoon…woolen..Mafe…leo..Love..they are all good players..they’re just not being used correctly. And Mike was supposed to be this guy who would know how to use these guys to make them elite players.

  21. The sooner we all admit we’re a mediocre team, the sooner we can start rebuilding. We can beat mediocre to good teams but we can’t beat contenders. But we can also lose to mediocre or bad teams. We don’t have the players we need to actually be contenders. A trade here and there won’t fix it.

  22. Why does the offensive line always seem so low priority? Like its showing to be such a big failure in our performance. Defense is another beast to talk about, but the biggest issue im seeing is that o line. How does schneider not see the need to improve it year after year

  23. Bills fan here….My biggest concern was that Seattle, with Kenneth Walker, was going to run all over the Bills, especially with Terrel Bernard being out for this game. I was shocked how little they ran, it didn’t make sense.

  24. As a visiting Bills fan, who regularly visit Seattle, the city was amazing as always, Seahawks fans were all fun to be around, even in a loss. Much love Seattle Bills will be back in 2032!
