Seattle SEAHAWKS AT CROSSROADS after ugly loss to Bills – ANALYSIS w/ Seahawks reporter Corbin Smith

Trying to put your finger on what’s ailing the Seattle Seahawks for much of these last four weeks? Do you have ENOUGH fingers?

I’m joined today by outstanding Seahawks reporter Corbin Smith to try and identify what’s right (if anything), what’s wrong, and try to answer the question of whether this team is closer to CONTENDER or REBUILD?

  1. I like both and I think you should do both. LIve real emotion reactions are great, then after we calm down and can be a little more objective is good for us too!

  2. Geno is an Interesting Topic. He throws a pretty ball, can get it out fast at times and makes some plays with his legs. YET, he pouts and doesn't seem to be a good leader and he's not young. I would love to blow up this team and rebuild it right. QB's and everyone else look a lot better behind a good O-Line. If we pay Geno big money we won't be able to fix our trenches and we will stay middling to crappy. Get young and hungry at Defense and Experianced leaders for our O-line. Just this fans opinion.

  3. What is amazing is it comes down to the offensive line in which John S has been a total failure yet Carroll get fired John is the one who brought in those linebackers free agents and the biggest mistake is Laken Tomlinson who should not be playing football but what is really concerning is Laken played with Jets and he was awful there so what was John thinking this team is never going anywhere without a good O-Line especially with Geno Smith who is incapable of looking for a secondary receiver he will just stand there waiting for his first option to come open like Sunday if they don’t get open he will hold the ball get sacked or throw a interception I also wonder why Witherspoon isn’t move to the outside corner he the best player on defense and getting wasted as a nickel

  4. Dan. I have never said put Seneca Wallace in when there's Matt Hassellback. I have never said put Geno Smith when there's Russell Wilson.
But it's time to say this. Put Sam Howell in when there's Geno Smith. Now I can finally say that. it's time to roll the dice.

  5. Seahawks' problem is clearly written on the wall. In fact, has been for 10 years. That is OL. It will go nowhere without fixing its OL. History is repeating itself.

  6. When are we all going to get realistic about the talent on this roster ? It's simply not that good overall. We may have a couple of pieces for a contending team, but we are sorely lacking in a number of key places. This roster is very similar to the 2010 roster when Pete took over. Aging QB, a couple of nice pieces on defense with Earl Thomas being one the very few that were left by 2013. An average O-line & D-line, our starting running back was Justin Forsett until Lynch was signed in Oct. It's going to take time to rebuild this team.

  7. the 20th ranked defense against the run is partially due to the bend don't break defense that the Bills play. The defense gets stiffer in the red zone. We invite the run with two high safeties and the lighter weight linebackers who can cover passes.
