  1. Why are you glazing, Byfield? He had that horrible turnover t that led to that Tuch goal. He had a couple of more turnovers trying to do too much. The guy that everyone compares him to, Tage Thompson, was an absolute beast in this game. He made Byfiled look like a 4th liner. Then you're talking about that one assist where he was cherry-picking near the red line and didn't even have to beat anybody. Common man. Byfield has a long way to go. 55 pts in 80 games last season playing 1st line min and PP. Forwards from his draft, who had more or near as much: Stutzle, Mercer, Jarvis, Raymond, and Peterka. He may be a star in the future, but he needs more time to figure it out. He is not there yet and does not deserve that level of praise. The Kings did not deserve to win this game anyway. DK was very good, and I don't think that hit by Zucker on Clarke was a penalty. That is just hard hockey. Sabs have a mobile D that played really well. I'm happy with the decision putting Lee in. I'm not an Akil fan. Turc got his chances with his speed. He needs to put up points and be in the top 6. Drew was really missed. Burroughs with some of the worst passes ever. I'm not happy with Ed. Seems a bit slow of foot. Kopi gonna set career highs at 37? That would be cool.

  2. That did not look like a dramatically different team vs last year. After all the roster changes and talk of getting uncomfortable, I was hoping to see a change in the style of play in this game, especially given that Buf roughed the Kings up so much last year. Glad Kopi and Kuemper did what it took to get the W, but the team doesn’t appear to have learned its lesson yet. I almost wish they lost so they would get a message. Let’s hope they put it together because K&K can’t do this every game. GKG!

  3. Fialla , kempe i thought struggled a bit tonight but i liked turcott game but he seems fragile i hope he beefs up confidence mind n body lets go turk GKG 💯

  4. Not an impressive win by any means with how badly they were outplayed for long stretches of this game that they were but they stuck it out and pulled out a win in Buffalo which has been the team's kryptonite for a number of these past seasons so hopefully the team looks better versus Boston because most games like they played against the Sabres end up in defeat.

  5. Kuemper looked fantastic and strong play from Turcotte and Byfield. Hopefully the shaky play was just early season rust and not a sign of things to come. 🤞

  6. They dont ask how, they ask how many. They start the season on the road with a win in a barn they dont win at often. And how about having a goalie that can steal a game. Thats been awhile.

  7. Eddie, for the first time in years, I signed up for Bally Sports West to watch the Kings play. Sadly, what I saw was a one-sided game with Darcy Kuemper playing his heart out. He was almost "Quick-est" in his play as he single-handedly saved the game for them. What now worries me is that they were totally outplayed for two and a half periods? Does that mean they aren't good enough to compete? Oh, you just covered everything I saw. In any case, with a five-game trip, I could see them winning one more or none at all. Funny thing is I rather like this team. In the pre-season, they seemed to work well together. But, now I worry they won't be able to keep up-with any of the teams? Do you have any similar feelings? At least…they need to stop taking penalties! Go Kings!

  8. I didn’t see the physicalness that the team was supposed to be aiming for that supposedly wears teams down, but they were the better team in the 3rd period so maybe it’s not visually obvious, but seeing as the Sabres out hit us like 2-1, I’m confused?

  9. I think with buffalo youth and 2 losses they were desperate I think LA just doesn’t match well against speed like that. Just awesome we stole 1 in a rink we haven’t had success in
