  2. Can Sully put Karlsson on the offense as a winger. Then bring Ryan Shea up for defense. You might think Karlsson would want to be in the offense. Desperation!

  3. If you look at the closest dynasty to the Penguins in the cap era, you have the Blackhawks. They admitted their run was over, got rid of all of their big stars, and started to rebuild. I think it's time the Penguins admit that they've hit that same bridge the Hawks crossed years ago. They just don't have it like they used to anymore.

  4. I remeber everyone including Nick all giddy last Summer with all of the Forwards Pens were picking up . I told everyone then the Pens needed a solid D . Get over Crosby already . He is another Jeff Carter at this point . He is toast . He is old and slow .

  6. Unless they change their system or get rid of Sully I don't think this team is going to do anything. I think this is the new Norm. Putting Malkin on SIDS line is not going to work they play completely differently, and they'll cancel each other. In my opinion…

  7. Geno has as many 3+ point games as he did all last season (three) so he carried over the momentum of the last 15 games last season when he looked amazing. I love Rust on his line as "bulldog" types like Rust & Bunting complement his game. Have no idea whats going on with Bunts. If he gets going Geno will go to an even higher level.

  11. The pens need a good draft year, they would be better served tanking the season getting a top 5 pick and trying to build a team around that player for crosbys last 2 years.

  12. so zoom out 10,000 ft. What are they thinking? even IF say 3 things start going right for them OR you get some buy-in (however you want to quantify things getting better) are they going to win a Stanley Cup? no… Time to Nuke and Pave.
