  1. Don't know what they're telling Riq Woolen, but he looks like he's just standing around half the time. He should be manning up when someone comes into his zone.

  2. I think maybbeeee we get rid of the pieces that were from Pete's scheme that aren't working in Mike's and just draft the key pieces we need…. but who am i idfk

  3. My biggest disappointment from yesterday was that fight between our guys! Total embarrassment! Don't care how good D.Hall is good this year if you can't play as a team, you shouldn't be on the field

  4. Just keep going. Geno is solid. The O-line is problematic, but they played as well as they did against Atlanta – and that's better than prior games. The game was full of weather-related mishaps and odd mistakes that took away scoring opps. Tough game.

  5. Start with the more power back, maybe that will help tire the opponent defense a bit faster than our current finesse starter! Start Zach, he's harder to get down, at least it seems that way! Hit em with finesse K9 in 2nd half

  6. From DK still pouting on the sidelines to players fighting midgame, it's clear Mike hasn't changed the culture in Seattle. And the rampant dysfunction instilled by Carroll's regime still exists. This isn't a hard reset, as it should have been; it's just the same ingredients presented on a new dish with a new name. And if I'm being honest, it tastes worse.

  7. Now, when i say this, i wanna be clear, im not blaming anyone, but do we have to ask, is it the players? They are praising mike saying hes smart and he knows alot more than he thinks he does, if thats true why isnt it translate to the field?

  8. For all people saying ‘and you all wanted to move from Pete Carrol…see what you got?’ Just stop.
We know what we get with recent Pete teams. .500 and mid play. Had to move on.
Change doesn’t happen overnight just cause you’ve changed coaches this much. This is step one of a new era.
    Please relax.

  9. A few years from now when we’re in the Super Bowl, we’re gonna look back at this game and laugh. I’ve been and remain 100% and Mike McDonald corner games like this are expected this early on.

  10. why isn’t Gru doing all this motions and trick place like he did at the UDub I got three you can do inside the five that will guarantee the score on name them first the Philly special the play Philadelphia did in the Super Bowl on the 5 yard line 2nd play sweep left Z inside reverse to jsn and Fake a run up to three hole and then shovel pass to JSN up the 4 hole all those are automatic scores

  11. Is there some sort of contractual obligation.l the Seahawks have where the coach has to go on this show weekly? I can’t imagine any other reason why he would want to talk to these two idiots every week

  12. We do have to run earlier in the game. More importantly we need to run the ball more effectively. K9 has at least 1 man to beat before he gets near the line of scrimmage. It all goes back to John Schneider Quote in the early summer. "Guards are over paid and overrated. The only reason we (can) do well passing the ball, passing the ball, is Geno moves well in the pocket. Geno has as strong arm, top five. His accuracy is close to number one in the league.
Geno has above average receivers across the board including K9 and Charbonett. I am feeling that AJ Barner could become a pretty good TE. As is i think we should throw him the ball more often.
Defense will take more words than anyone wants to read. Happy to hear Ernest Jones 1v was in on 14 tackles. We have the talent on defense, but are offense is not controlling the ball enough which greatly helps. For anybody who doesn't know if your not going forward defense takes more energy than offense.

  13. If the Seahawks have a mid offensive line, would a more mobile quarterback suit that situation? If they aren't able to keep a pocket for Geno Smith to throw in, maybe he has to run and throw on the run more often? Keeping the defense guessing, opens up both the run and pass game. If age and contracts get in the way, then maybe Sam Howell with his hunger and confidence can lead this team?

  14. Why are we not having Charbonnet run through the middle and giving walker screens and quick routes? Walker is not a player that can plow through the middle with a bad line and we're besting him up for no reason

  15. I reserved from getting excited or angry with this team for at least a year, when Coach MacDonald was hired. For so long we’ve been disappointed season after season, that you just expect it. Let’s just see what happens.

  16. It always comes down to line play. Right now the Oline play is just not very good (well below average)…and the Dline's play has been below par.

  17. The teams we've lost to have all had coaching staffs that have been with their team for awhile. This is Macs firsr go around. Gotta give him some time to fine tune his system. Still think we need new strength coaches. Seems like we've been getting pushed around for years.

  18. You know McDonald will never run his players down in public. He gets the best from everybody if he talks them up, not down. That being said he inherited a team. When he gets to make choices for who he wants at QB who will it be? There is a young dude still in college who will it be? The fact is you can't just trade for someone else's franchise QB. LA and Detroit traded two all stars, Denver made out the best this year. Look at Houston, Washington, SF all drafted a guy others might have overlooked. Chicago just watched the guy they passed over throw a hail Mary on them.

  19. Head Coaches need to be careful of what they say on many fronts.
I hope they Just keep woodshedin' and fix the 'stuck on stupid' stuff first.
Schneider clearly needs to pass the torch on draft decisions since the O-line hasn't been addressed effectively after years of atrophy.

  20. Am I the only one who notices how soft Woolen plays? Like it’s one of those things that once you notice it you can’t not anymore, and he was benched for it last year already

  21. I want Mike. I will ride with him to the wheels fall off. He understands our weaknesses and he's willing to build them with different possibilities and direction his way. He was the defensive coordinator on the ravens so trust and believe he loves violence, That's why we got another edition on defense. Ernest jones. Mike is a fighter but we have multiple issues which we will fix. I have to also take in consideration that LOB wasn't developed overnight. It took years for that evolution to erupt. The players from that defense came collectively, No one came at the same time. It took time for Doug Baldwin and Jermaine Kearse to be dual threat wide receivers. I just need us to get our offense in check to where we can put up big numbers against tougher teams in the NFC. That cones with the OL situation, Our wr's need to work on better routes and route running also between Geno Smith vs Sam Howell that war needs to stop. I been over that since we lost to the 9ers. Cause Sam wouldn't be able to do anything differently than Geno with how much he's getting pressured. He's also leading the league in yards while getting pressured but I get it people care about wins more than stats. I do too but we ain't got that kinda time to be pointing fingers when our wr's surprisingly aren't THAT good. I'll be honest. Dk is probably our risk taker. Top that all off our OLine are just blowing it all away. So it's not Genos fault. Imagine what he'd do if our oline was solid and lockett and jsn were better at running routes (forget speed). We'd be undefeated. I'm just saying. Sam Howell maybe a better QB than Geno who knows? But with that Oline looking terrible and throwing the ball over my QB's head, While not paying attention where their going on the field (stepped on Genos foot yall know what I'm talking about). Me personally I'm giving Geno a chance to show me wassup. I'm banking on Geno. Even though I was pissed off vs 49ers. I watched the game over again and woke up. There's not a QB in the league that could change this scenario involving the OLine we have. God forbid one more gets hurt. I really think we as a unit have to give our coaches and this team more time. We have the pieces but we need a tweak or 2. It'll come together and I trust Mike. #GoHawks
