Pettersson needs to be taken off the powerplay.
one constant since tocc got here is if he loses patience with a player he doesn't use him and he ends up being traded. he ripped hoglander and he stopped short when he said 11.6's name but at that point he didn't need to say anything else. if you play an honest game you will be successful with garland on your line.
I mean Tocc wasn’t wrong. That line wasn’t good against Carolina.
Petterson's line should be switched with the third line at least they put in the effort. He should be pulled off the power play. I'm sure there's somebody that would do a better job or at least put in the effort..
Petey’s problem, imo, is he’s not holding on to the puck and skating with it. When he was producing, and when any top player that can skate produces, they’re skating into open space with his head up, scanning for plays. Petey receives the puck, doesn’t move, and dishes it off (poorly). Sometimes the recipient doesn’t even expect it. It’s horrendous.
Maybe petey is more a kuzmenko type? I mean he shined with kuzmenko right?
Vancouver canucks have so many hole in there game .. The hurricane could of blow us away ..Where are our defense crazy and Pettersson where is that 11.6 million dollars ghost
He has not been a star since last years all star break ..Stop babying him ..
Here's to hoping that management's able to get something decent for both of them.
Trade them .Hronek debrusk not doing much better. Where's the big contracts ,sprong shearwood top line?management needs to stepped it up
Hoglander has never played good consistently on the 1st or 2nd line. IMO he shines when he’s in the bottom 6 role
The twig still playing like the twig he is 😂
Garland plays best with blueger period last season proved that
too many excuses for this kid man… u guys give him too much credit… $11.6 mill???? OVER RATED…
I disagree… Petterson was awful as always, Garland sucked the first 2 periods, and Hogs was out of position a bit the first 2 periods but at least he was buzzing. Tocchet said when he came to Vancouver he doesn't like undersized players. He has a soft spot for Garland from Phoenix days. Whenever there's a problem with Garland or Petterson Hoglander has always been the one punished for their lack of production although he's the lowest paid player lol they should be getting him going in reality. That's what they're paid the big bucks for right? Also funny that analytics always seem to show Hogs is playing better than Petey too 😆
Hogs should've pushed them to make the trade with the Rangers when they were after him. I mean who would you rather play next to Petterson, or Panarin?… just saying
Top-3 worst signing in Canucks history. 1. Mark Messier 2. Oliver Ekman-Larsson 3. Elias Pettersson.
Pettersson needs a fresh started elsewhere? Canucks needs to Dumped His contracts but no value yet on pace 49 points lowest in his rookie. Time to ride the pressed Box . NOT the same person
Tocchet is an idiot, I still can’t believe he couldn’t coach Kuzy so they traded him for absolutely nothing of a player, before we start getting rid of our core players, let’s find a new coach!
And it’s not like we’re getting our asses kicked out there, we got one point out of every loss and just won 4 in a row before the Carolina loss which again went overtime so we got another point, we don’t even have our number 1 goalie or Joshua
Pety , by my crude calculation makes $8000.00 a shift.
Petey was not that bad against Carolina, Miller was WAY worse.
I think Petey is all washed up, now that everyone has him figured out, and he has not figured out how to switch it up. At least not yet, too predictable
dude i stopped watching after the 4th commercial that was shoved down my throat.
Petey 40 is a project, an expensive project. Let's hope he can project himself to the next level.
