What is going on with the Seattle Seahawks when they play at home? Where did the fans go?
A really bad trend.

Definitely a good video. Good topic. Definitely a deep topic.
Three words: Sell…….the……….team
I was worried about Bezos coming in and being Behring, Jody Allen is Behring (oddly the total opposite of her brother). So bring it on, pawn the Washington Compost off for about 30 cents on the dollar and let's go.
Calling the city out to the national media after you can't get a first down? Oh but we didn't cheer loud enough. I was not a trade Geno fan, but I am now. Trying to shame.us when it's you Geno that should be ashamed, making millions to suck so bad on 3rd down and under pressure.
If you’re going to the games, I highly recommend the bus services. Bypass the traffic, way cheaper than parking and gives you some time to sober up. Going to games is definitely not like a job…it is not cheap and you have to be weather prepared that is for sure though.
Flubbering the ball twice in the red zone and smacking the opposing QB right in front of a ref long after he got rid of the ball is what lost this game.
He is right about the season-ticket holders, selling tickets I know so many people that do that a bunch of my family members do that they do it to break even because of the price of season tickets so games they can’t make it or games that are against teams we have a hard time beating there gonna sell them most of the time
But this has been going on for years so it’s not % 100 of the reason why there so many of the other team’s fans.
The whole state has changed. Lived here my whole life. Not surprise fans aint showing up cuz its not same fanbase. Cost of livin way up. Crime up. No community anymore. Lower class cant afford games and the rich only go if its the hip thing to do. They rather keep driving in their Rivians and return cheap products to amazon everyday
This is what should happen. Until they fix the problem stop investing in those home & away games.
This video hit hard. We’re the 12th man and let the opposing team invade our stadium. That makes me sick
This is unacceptable. Embarrassment to our city
Last year I remember being at the Pittsburgh game, and the fans had much more energy than the team. Paying this much money to see the team not play as if the game means everything. They need a total overhaul of a team; make it interesting. Trotting out bandaids is not worth spending this type of money.
I agree with you @BrendonNelson The Seahawks have been average for the past 4 years now
Seattle locals are moving out of state due to many issues including been priced out. The tech company attracted a lot of people from other places that don't give shit about the city.
They def should’ve built another dome
I was at the Thursday night game against 49ers & saw too many 49ers fans who were louder than some of the Seahawks fans who were there! I personally yelled my heart out! I had a fun experience at the game though. I agree, ticket prices are high & you don't get to see as much details of the game unlike when watching the broadcast. Still I have no regrets for going to the game! GO HAWKS!
Honestly its today’s economy and the cost of living in seattle, its just hard to go to a game that’s gonna cost $300 plus dollars when im trying to make ends meet, and thats not even counting food, parking and traveling
I can't believe anyone thought the Seahawks were going to win this game, so if you were a season ticket holder, would you go to a game you knew the Seahawks were going to lose, hell no. So those season ticket holders want to get their money's worth, so they sold their seats and got paid. You all think Washington being Democratic means that they are faithful and loyal, hell no, Washington, Seattle area specifically, is amongst the greediest place in the country. These idiots up here want to make the most money and instead of working to build their community they'd rather just pay another tax. This area up here is worse than any Red state.
The weather is miserable by the end of October who wants to sit through that especially when they put an effort in like they did on sunday
More money for the sellers, not for seahawks
I have been to free games, with tickets I got free from friends
If I can get two tickets for less than $150 I drive to Everett and take the Sounder to the game. A lot of people at the game don't cheer at all. They just drink a lot of beer and have fun with their friends. Or they just sit there and are on their phones the whole game. True fans just like you said would rather watch it at home or at their local Sports bar now than pay all that money and all the extra work.
Going to a game is one thing, but who wants to deal with Seattle now. The city itself is turning many away from traveling 1-4 hrs to go see a game and enjoy the city. If you live locally I get it but many of the 12’s traveled from all over to fill those stands and enjoyed a weekend in the city.
I was at the Giants game, we made a ton of noise. The first quarter of bills game was loud as heck when bills on offense. Also paid 600 total for two tickets, 5 row back goal line. Once a year for me, not to mention what was spent at the game
Fairweather fans selling their tickets because of team performance and prices are insane already
I have been a season ticket holder for 20 years in a section right by the visitors tunnel. While I go to every game possible, it is a hard sell to bring family and friends when the product on the field sucks. Bottom line, an exciting team fixes the problem. 9-win purgatory will make the problem worse.
no this is a bad excuse , bears lions , and browns fans have shown up to there games all the time even when those teams were consistently shity , ive never seen the bears lions or browns stadium filled up with opposing fans . we just fell into a category with the chargers who left san diego to la and no one cares about them , this could end up dangerous for the hawks in seattle , look what happend to thje supersonics there , this has been flat out embarassing and i hate saying this but i niners fans were right we have a crap fan base with nothing but a huge portion of bandwagoners. it seems the hawks fans that dont live in seattle care more for the seahawks than the fans in seattle , im a hawks fan in chicago and the hawks fans in the midwest rep hard , hell the hawks fans south did a hell of a job showing up to the game in atlanta
I went for the first time to the season opener last year against the Rams. We got throttled but I loved being there. Been a fan all my life thanks to my dad and I stayed until the final whistle. The game may be for entertainment but I want to be apart of something bigger like the 12's fanbase. Wish there was more love rather than a requirement to succeed every year. Go Hawks!
Try not to milk fans for every dime they have
I noticed tons of opposing fans walking in. First game I went to in a decade. I sat in club for the first time. Every I time I went to the bathroom or get beers I saw tons of people sitting up in the lounge watching the game on the tvs. The 12's in the seats not getting up making noise on defense. Doesnt help when our offense comes out and gives you nothing to be excited about. Different atmosphere than it was when I had a season ticket back in the day.
Where'd they go?! You're kidding me, right? tickets $180×2 + parking $60 + dinner $50 + fuel $30 = $500. I will never go to another game.
I decided this was the year to go to all the games I could. I had some job perks but still spent a lot of money. Normally I make it to one a year, this time like 6 including the Cardinals away game. Yeah I've been to alllll the losses lol. The crowd hits 98 decibels. I remember it being over 100. It seems like we get hyped up on third and 7 for them to throw an 8 yard slant. I've had to switch to just clapping because my screams don't mean anything.
