  1. This team is not good enough to recover from their turnovers. And they're turning it over WAY more than usual. At least our hockey team matches our football team.

  2. Gotta do something. Fire a coach, bench a should be star player (Mac), bring up Lysell or Merk, anything to send a message to this team and light a fire. I still have faith in this team but they gotta figure things out fast here. Because losing when you get a stellar performance from your backup, and when you’re playing Philly, is unacceptable. Go B’s.

  3. Honestly some of the forwards look like they are trying too hard and are planning tight. Zacha, Coyle and Freddie all just look like they are holding the stick too tight. But honestly that middle six looks like a bunch a guys who had career years last year and they are just not those people and management was fooled by it. When your shake up to the first line pp is Brazeau and you have 2 defensemen on your second unit it is just glaring the lack of offensive talent the team has. They should have scored last night but a mixture of finishing talent, tightness, and lack of confidence just had them look terrible.

  4. The Bruins have deserved every single boo they’ve received from fans this season.

To quote Shoresy of Letterkenny, “it’s not that they don’t want to win. It’s that they don’t hate to lose”

This Bruins team is just coasting. Some players you can see visible effort from. Like Poitras. At least that’s what I see. It’s our Veterans who are the problem. Is benching them the solution? Maybe. Bring up some of Providence to play in their stead. See how much better we perform. Laugh and cry over how shit our NHL TEAM IS, THAT THE MINOR LEAGUE TEAM WILL DO BETTER, but keep the 4th line untouched. I don’t know why Koepke was on the third line with Brazeau. Or why Brazeau ended up on the second line with Marchand and Coyle. These moves hurt the brain. Was is special teams related? I genuinely don’t know anymore. Monty loves to move players up and down the lineup. With a team like we had these past couple years. Yeah. Understandable. We didn’t get many new pieces. Or, better yet. We didn’t lose many veterans. This past off season? DeBrusk, Grzelcyk, Forbort, Heinen, I know we lost other players too, but. Those 4 stuck out to me with most importance. Deebs was great. Had speed, was known to the system. Was our depth scoring. Grizzy, he was a Power Play menace. A smaller D-Man who could score and would prove a pest. Forbort. Big man on the Penalty Kill. With him healthy. We maintained a 90% PK. Heinen, though he wasn’t with us for a few years. He was still a depth player who was functional for us.

Fuck Johnson. May he never play in the Bruins uniform. I view him as equal to Jones and Tufte. He is not Danton Heinen. I’m sure he’s a great guy, I just don’t ever want to see him donning the Spoke-B in the regular season. Let a younger guy from Providence try it in ‘The Show’

It’s gotten to the point where I just expect us to lose. Why? As previously mentioned. “It’s not that they don’t want to win. It’s that they don’t hate to lose” they don’t put effort into their play. Sure, we get like a minute where these balls-to-the-wall WE ARE TRYING TO SCORE, but. Snake-bit. The entire team is snake bit. They spend most of their time coasting right now. You can see individual efforts from time to time. However. It’s not consistent. We are playing like the Leafs do in Playoff hockey. Just, happy to be there.

  5. I've been saying since I watched Bergeron and Marchand leave the ice in tears that Monty is not a good coach and he needs to go. The team will get worse until he is replaced. Sorry but it is what it is. The leadership is the problem. Look at the Oilers last year. They were the worst team, they fired the coach, and went on a winning run that was one game away from the longest winning streak in NHL history, and nearly won game 7 of the Stanley Cup finals. Around the league lately, when a struggling team gets a new coach, they get substantially better. As long as Monty is the coach, this team has peaked years ago.

  6. We suck. Pasta and Marchy are slow as a turtle, giveaway artists and so dam predictable and so easy to defend. McAvoy is disinterested. Seriously Poitras is there best forward but he plays with meat heads who can’t finish. Start sitting players and bring up Lysell, Merk and let them play.

  7. Defense just absolute mess. Like you said Carlo and McAvoy gonna get it together. Peeke in my opinion has been ok, he hasn’t been great I feel like we could definitely upgrade over him. Because ideally on a Stanley Cup contending team he’s a seventh defenseman. Hampus has been absolutely horrible. This guy is supposed to be a better version of Krug. I mean he’s 6’4 and he plays like he’s 5’7 so soft, and I question whether he even tries sometimes. It’s just like he got his paycheck and walked away. Such a bad contract. Zadarov has been pretty meh, definitely need more out of him for what we paid him as well.

  8. I'm honestly OK with some losses right now, because it just proves that they need to inject some youth and skill upside into the top 6 – if they were somehow blind to that in the preseason and camp, then hey these games are some concrete evidence that you cant just plug fucking Geekie, Koepke, Tufte, or Max Jones into skill based roles and expect shit to go well.

  9. Hey, it's not THAT bad. Look at the standings. They are just as good as Montreal and Buffalo and just behind Detroit and Ottawa. You know, those juggernaut playoff teams.

I said it before. The issue is pretty straight forward. the team has 1 top line player, Pasta. The others, Zacha, Lindholm and Marchand are 2nd line players. The rest are all 3rd and 4th line players overloaded with US college players. You can't win with that blend.

If the team looks confused out there it's because they are. They don't know who their line mates are from one shift to the next. Way to go Monty and your constant line juggling.

  10. I want Macavoy off the team! Him, Carlo, and Hampus! All of them are bums! Freddie is the only one who looks like he knows how to play hockey its F$%^ING embarrassing!!!! (kicks trashcan)

  11. If we can find a way to dump geekie and jones and a pick to pick up someone who can play a and line wing itll solve a lot of the problems. Sign johnson to fill in where needed bring up lysell to get some reps in. Need something to happen

  12. remember when we were all worried where the scoring was going to come from once Bergeron and Krejci retired? Well, it took a year but here we are…

at least we have a good culture!

  13. im going to cheer for j. lauko and the wild. all the guys they let go apparently were the glue guys. but yeah…everyone got paid big and no trade clauses. yay. and my sister lives in AZ and she and hubby hiked up and down the grand canyon. took like 12 hours total. thats nuts.

  14. i do appreciate the slight level of hesitancy towards full-on "burn everything to ashes and leaf blow the ashes into a pit" level of panic happening on places like twitter right now, makes me feel sane. you may have answered this in some other video but did/do you play hockey?

  15. Lets see these forward lines. Poitras should be a 1/2 C IMO, because he has more offensive ability than Coyle. I don't know what they'd get in return pick-wise, but they could trade Geekie to clear up cap, trade or waive Jones to the AHL, and sign Johnson as the extra forward. That way they still have some cap to work with at the deadline, if they can figure it out that is lol

    Zacha – Poitras – Pasta
    Marchand – Lindholm – Lysell
    Frederic – Coyle – Brazeau
    Beecher – Kastelic – Koepke
    Johnson
