  1. I saw a young team that made a lot of individual mistakes. Coaching and experience (mostly experience) will fix a lot of it. This game I didn't see either O line or D line pop off the ball. Battle is won in the trenches.

  2. If we’re going to have an identity, and I want it to be defense, we need to address the D Line, they need to be big aggressive and scary, enough time to create disguises, our DBs need to tighten it up so much but we need to collapse pockets for every pocket. Make that QB jumpy. And I’m for it. We can’t address all problems on both sides but get a solid piece on the O line that we need but MacDonald wants a hungry angry defense. Be ready to say hi and bye to some player this offseason

  3. We are losing at home with a complicated defense and crowd noise interfering with communication. Legion of boom was a straight up simple defense with great players. Crowd noise was an asset because they needed less communication.

  4. To the untrained eye it seems like the defense is more concerned about making the big play and not playing as a cohesive unit. first 3 games there seemed to be more gang tackling

  5. Maybe they shouldn’t have gotten rid of everything that’s LOB related to try and create their own identity, and instead learned to emulate the way the LOB played as a team. It was a system. Ranked as the fourth best of all time.

  6. Multiple plays receivers were out of place and Geno was clearly frustrated by it. Not sure what happened but yeesh… We didn’t look ready to play.

  7. I hate to be glass half full but they're pretty new, pretty young. Time is expensive and needs to be baked into depth IMHO.
I can't see how that's the players' fault, all the other stuff is.

  8. Sometimes talent doesnt always play cohesive together. Lot of talent on the team but learning a new scheme even the veteran leaders. They all seemed to be late to the ball and not comfortable in it yet. They should of signed patrick queen and some other ex ravens who could help with that issue. It will take time. Offensive is talented but oline makes it hard to showcase that consistently.
