  1. Honestly, I think Deebo was more off than purdy. I think if he didnt just come from the hospital having pneumonia, he would’ve made those plays. He was slow where the cornerback fell down. I thought that was a great throw by purdy, but deebo is recovering in my opinion

  2. I thought you were able to create contact within 5 yards from scrimmage not 1 yard but I could be wrong. Either way they the no flag call was the right call it wasn’t an illegal block/hit. Great video tho! 👍

  3. At the beginning of the 4th quarter, with the 9ers up 27 to 10……Collingsworth stated the 9ers have gone into the 'prevent defence'. … That 'prevent defence' allowed the Cowbells the score twice closing the score to 24 to 27.
The 'prevent defence' almost created a victory for the Cowbells.

  4. Gurendo opened up the outside zone run, probaly needed some experience to get going, Kyle also called hot routes vs man and Purdy was able to dot up on those. Gurendo w/ a full offseason w/ a slot coach will be mini CMC and they’ll probably be splitting reps. If teams wanna play man then CMC or Gurrendo or Deebo can flare out and run rail routs

  5. The real story of this game is that it's a microcosm of this entire season so far. We've been decimated by injuries, so we have a lot of folks playing who don't get many snaps. And so a lot of the details are just off. A lot of timing is off. And that makes a huge difference. Highlight reels don't show, for example, all of the offensive penalties that continued to kill our drives and even bring back explosives– including a really nice touchdown pass to Deebo. Highlight reels don't show the full field where you can clearly see receivers running the wrong routes. And they don't show Mason, who I love and 100% want to be successful, hitting the wrong holes and therefore not getting the minimum 2 to 4 yards that the run should get. This game was a microcosm of the entire season because it showed once again that the personnel and systems are there. We had a full quarter where we cleaned it up. Penalties weren't killing our drives. Our run game more consistently got at least a couple yards. Receivers weren't running into each other, haha. Just one quarter of clean play, and we looked like a completely different team. If we can get the details figured out during the bye week…

Also: Purdy hasn't been trusting his receivers to get YAC this season– mostly because they haven't been winning early in man coverage. And because a lot of defenses have been dropping more folks into coverage to counteract Purdy's ability to just chew through zones and reduce the open space around receivers so they can't build all that momentum for YAC.. I know you are trying to review like all the major games, so I get it. But we've had really low YAC, and yet Purdy's been throwing for a lot of yards because he's been pushing the ball down field. This game was actually really nice because we ran some quicker passes and Purdy took more check downs– to be clear, I don't know if that's because Kyle called more plays with good check downs, if it's because Purdy doesn't have the best chemistry with Mason for check downs, or if it's just because Purdy was just trying to hit the bigger plays too much earlier this season. Whatever the reason, the passing attack was a bit more balanced this game, which helps open up the deeper shots while more reliably moving the chains. So that was nice to see.

  6. I genuinely think Purdy is a top 10 player, San Francisco was just a stable enough environment where he could actually develop his abilities. Had he been drafted to a place like NYJ or Carolina I think he would still be an afterthought. I think his recent duds have been a bit more on the crumbling situation around him rather than his own faults aside from a few big mistakes against KC.
