22. At this point, I'm not convinced that Brad Holmes is actually going to make a move — if he does, he won't overpay for an edge rusher so that limits who is realistically available — in Holmes we trust.

23. The problem is that any trade for an edge rusher doesn't 100% guarantee the Lions a Superbowl championship.

27. We have no pass rush. I keep saying when they get into the thick of it they will need to rob from the secondary to produce any pressure and it’s gonna bite us. What’s more important to them winning now or sticking to their plan? Gotta be flexible a little. Do we really believe even if healthy that Davenport will be a stud next year? Get someone you can pair with Hutch for the next couple years or trade this person next year to recoup these picks that Holmes clearly can’t get rid of.
