  1. I don’t expect giants to win the World Series every year, but when I have to take out a mortgage to buy a beer…expect the giants to be above .500 once a while.

  2. I would say that the Giants need to find an identity again. Zaidi stripped out anything that could be an identity in favor of being a jack of all trades, but unless you are a master of all like in 2021 that is not an identity. It is a FACT that oracle park is not an easy place to hit in having ranked hardest park to hit HR's for 3 years in a row. In a time period where HR's are the meta. That is a horrible stat for luring free agents here so we really need to be more creative in acquiring top-end talent and given where this team is and likely to end up in two years, I don't see how we avoid a rebuild.

  3. Good hire, different philosophy with the added bonus of familiarity. The scouting wing of the organization was massively de-emphasized during the Zaidi regime. This is a step in the right direction to correcting the hierarchy, placing a needed check on a bloated and detached analytics department that had tremendous veto power in recent years.

  4. They were all bargain basement ball players, and thats what Farhan Zaidi was all about the cheapest players that he could find, just luck warm players, i thank the lord that Farhan Zaidi is gone!!!
