  4. Fred really had luck on his side when he signed that incredible contract with Houston. His large salary was not going to change what he did in Toronto. Taking more shots when his numbers were going down and not being able to provide adequate defense especially against quality pg's. Giannis is being linked to Miami. I can see him going there. If Toronto can keep games close yet lose I can accept that.

  7. The way the NBA works with not waiting for someone to shine. If i was Ja'Kobe I'd get my butt on the floor asap and not worry about a little ache or pain. How many young players have an injury to start their inaugural season and are lost on the bench never to have a chance.

  12. Giannis will take possessions away from barnes who the team is supposed to be built around unless they involve him in a trade, which empty all the draft picks and other young player assets.

  14. Newsflash: NONE of the former Raps "stars" are worth their present contracts, including Nurse. OG is maybe the closest, but even his is wildly inflated. They all got their bags based on heavy minutes and high usage. Having championship experience didn't hurt either. No hate, i loved all those dudes until their final seasons when it was clear they were all playing for their own accolades and "the bag". Again OG is perhaps an exception here as he always seemed to be about positive relationships and the betterment of the team.
