2. Lou has a history of firing Hall of Fame coaches Hall of Fame players that became coaches . maybe it’s time to put Lou in a place

9. Hey – Let me start by saying as an Isles fan most of us do feel like you explained and your right Ownership needs to hold Lou accountable. It took so many years for us to get a new arena and when we did the improvements just stopped really with the exception of trading for Bo Horvat but I'm sure now he's regretting signing here because just like with Tavares and Barzal it doesn't matter how good they are if they are surrounded by older slower guys then they won't win. Lou is on his 3rd Head coach and when is this going to end we deserve a team that is exciting and competes for not just the last playoff spot but they play with heart and fire night in and night out. Thank You for shining a light or lighthouse really on this issue !

11. A Veteran back up for Montembeault?…They had Allen who didn't want to leave Montreal! lol. But agree they need help Primeau is not a NHL caliber back up goalie. He should be a third stringer.

12. I have been saying since April that Montreal's primary need is for a bonafide, first string goaltender. Monty is a 2nd stringer at best and Primeau reminds me of the days when Red-Light Racicot patrolled the Hab's crease. Hughes needs to pull a deal out of his ass quickly if the want to challenge for a playoff spot…

14. I just realized the Penguins passed on drafting Lane Hutson. The Pens drafted Owen Pickering in the 1st round 21st overall. The Habs drafted Lane Hutson in the 2nd round 62nd overall. The Pens should trade Sam Poulin, Owen Pickering, and Jesse Puljujarvi for Lane Hutson. PULL IT OFF DUBAS!!!!!!

15. Imo, NYI have one of the very worst owners in the league. He's an absentee owner. He doesn't care at all. He's in this to watch the value of his franchise grow. It has, so he's happy. Operationally, the spreadsheet also looks good year over year as the team turns a nice profit. NHL owners have to create and drive culture as well as instill an urgency and sense of purpose.

    That's why the new guy in Utah looks so good rn. He does all those things. Islanders fans deserve better, as do CBJ & BUF – 2 other teams with great fan bases but bad ownership.

23. HABS are not kicking themselves for trading Jake Allen, he was not doing that great the last season anyways and not do that great right now so that holds no weight, but new goal tending is for sure on the radar or should be anyways.

24. MSL needs to get the Habs D men to play their positions go to where they need to go and compete, tie up opponents sticks and play tougher in the slot. Stop giving up countless 2 on 1's. A new goalie is not going to help this mess right now, unless the goalie knows how to coach the Defense!
