The Bucks are having a disastrous start to the season. New rumors around Giannis Antetokounmpo have just come out and it’s looking even more like this could be his last season in Milwaukee.

You're insane if you think the Bucks are going to trade Giannis at 1-to-1 salary when they're already 8.5 million over the 2nd apron, meaning they acquire a bunch of trade pieces that are difficult to actually trade. If they were going to trade him, they'd only do it if they could shed at least 8.5 million. This restricts potential buyers to teams that 1) can bring in more salary then they send out, while 2) staying under the second apron themselves, where 3) acquiring Giannis actually moves the needle, without 4) selling the farm. Any teams that meet those conditions might have Milwaukee by the proverbial balls, and might be able to pick up Giannis for a song. Warriors could pick him up for Wiggins, Kuminga, and Moody, no draft picks (because, see: balls). Both teams would be under the 2nd apron, Milwaukee picks up three highly movable trade pieces – with the ability to actually trade them – and the Warriors pick up an active-Top-5 player while losing very little depth. The Bucks get both the pieces and the capability to begin a rebuild, the Warriors get another ring.

  4. If Miami shoot on a big 3 of JB, Giannis and Bam every opposing coach would just play 5 men by the paint and let them beat them with jumpers it’d be so hectic to watch that big three I can’t even lie

  5. As a Warriors fan, I might trade JK, (Moody or TJD), GP2 and Kyle for salary + picks.

    I might also include Lindy Waters, if he is able to raise his trade value considering that Melton might be out for quite some time.

    The Warriors depth might be affected but Giannis is a beast and can play 30-40+ if needed.

  8. Milwaukee could still trade Dame, Middleton and Lopez for an absolute haul of picks to the right teams. Obviously Giannas gets his own haul. Great opportunity to rebuild if they don’t sense championship.

  15. They can't win with one of the worst defensive backcourts in recent memory- Dame and Trent. Lopez is near the end of a nice career and Middleton can't stay on the court. The NBA cap has them trapped. Giannis may not age well given who much of his game comes from sheer athleticism. All that pounding will take it's toll.

  23. But what I don't understand is why Doc Rivers is there. They should have hired Atkinson or at least brought in Vogel, Chancey Billups or why not give Dan Hurley a massive contract?
