2. Relax. Things don’t change in just one night, it is still in a Pete Carroll culture. If you give it some time in it will change to a different culture. First year coaches (some) don’t beat every team, they lose horribly in their first season. The next year they will learn from their mistakes and fix them in the off season.

   I am surprised that we are 4-4 I expected 2-6 in the first year.

5. As frustrating as that game was to watch, I'm excited about Macdonald. I think the real jump will be in year two, once everyone has a season under their belt learning a rather complicated defense. We also have some players that were part of Carroll's system and may not be ideal for Macdonald or Grubb, so getting into another draft and another round of free agency might help with team building that's more oriented toward this system.

Im holding onto almost all new coaching staff, defensive injuries/inconsistencies+Newly signed players, a QB who is not an A+ QB, but maybe a B and right side of offensive line that is also destroyed with injuries and rookies. The team needs to grow together, and at times, it takes years. Most of the best coached teams are much more seasoned, veteran and coherent together on all sides of the ball, Dfence+Off+Coaches. Our guys gotta play as one though and half the guys seem to play seperately from the cohesive team effort resulting in more inconsistencies. It's like letting the super glue dry vs it being fresh and goopy. The players might be coherent personally(The actual vets from prev sea teams), but you gotta have time to learn as a group. Most people had this team written off before the season even started, so 4n4 aint bad. The goofy mistakes on an individual player level are things that can be fixed(Technique and penalties), but i do believe we can have better play calls. takes time, though, for the players to learn all the play calls to go deep into schemes. Or maybe allowing geno to also change the plays on the field isn't working out as well as we hoped, and just following the game plan, your coaches plan for you. Regardless, this is the NFL, and any team can win(Browns beat ravens). All these guys are pros, and we will continue to see this team HOPEFULLY evolve in a positive direction. But we gotta stop playing from behind and feeling forced to pass the ball only reason geno has his production because K9 aint getting the ball. I mean, starting the game with 2 btb 3n outs and giving it to K9 like 2 times?I mean we barely had play calls for the run. If all these issues continue all season long and don't get corrected between now and into the beginning of 2025 season then I'll change my tone to more aggressive but I got hope still.

8. I know everyone is tired and frustrated, but I do appreciate Mike’s approach. I know some people think he’s being too easy on players and staff when it comes to games like we had on Sunday, but I think he’s grilling these guys behind the scenes. I’m still giving him the rest of this season and the next to see if he can make this team what we all expect them to be.

Steady as she goes. Your coaching staff needs to have the same accountability that you obviously have and instil in your guys. Let’s get ready for a great second half of the season. 23. I noticed over the last couple of seasons the opposing teams fans presence has been getting bigger and bigger. My family had season tickets from 76 to 2016. We never sold a single ticket. Gave away a lot to close friends and family, but never sold a single ticket. We were priced out. Now I watch from my back patio. I really noticed the 49ers game. “Did that many people from NOCAL move to the Puget Sound?”

24. The team is 4-4…. Just imagine some of these fans if we were 2-6…? I know it’s tough, but give it some time, it will click consistently, and they will be good. Really good. Just like Pete did, Mike will flip this roster, get his kind of players in the building, for his system, and watch out. They have passed on a lot of really good football players over the last 5-10 years and drafted some WDF is that players. Hopefully Mike can say “no, we are not drafting some kid from Texas Tech when the best MLB in the draft from LSU or Georgia (insert SEC name here) is still available.”

His story is over this is mikes team and It’s going to take time to be build a championship team. Do I agree that this team if full of talent yes! Are we perfect no. Do have lot of experienced vets to coach the younger players maybe. Look at the rams for instance took 4 years for them to make it to the Super Bowl maybe more than that but it’s due to processing! The “fans” I I see all over these Seahawks YouTube videos and podcasts are so incredibly frustrating to be associated with..they’re the same “fans” that keep selling their tickets to the opposing team & bitch to bench our top 10 QB in Geno Smith. Thankfully these idiots don’t run a professional football organization. I have the utmost faith in John, Mike & our coaching staff. Our ENTIRE coaching staff except for Leslie Frazier are first time NFL coaches, ya know ROOKIES. There’s a steep learning curve going from college to the pros. These guys are doing their best & are 4-4, fighting for the division lead, some good games and some bad games, with all things considered currently, I’m happy with where we’re at & I have faith in our Seahawks.
