Dallas Mavericks Fall to Houston Rockets on Halloween: What’s Wrong with Luka Doncic?

The Dallas Mavericks started off a five-game homestand by losing to the Houston Rockets on Halloween, 108-102. After falling down by 23 points, the Mavs made a big push to get within three points late in the fourth quarter, but it wasn’t enough. Luka Doncic continued to struggle with his shooting, especially early in the game. How worried should we be about No. 77’s performances so far? The guys also discuss Kyrie Irving being the team’s MVP so far, as well as P.J. Washington being effective as a small-ball center.

  1. I want to thank you both for being HONEST about Luka period. For the last 5 games Luka has put the team in a deficit with his poor shooting selection and icing his teammates out in the 1st qtr. He needs to allow the game to come to him and play team ball. There is nothing wrong with Klay starting – they NEED to Allow Kai to Run the Offense because he gets everyone involved early. It’s very frustrating watching Dallas right now with Luka not playing team and playing Hero Ball. Dallas has a damn good team, we will never see it until he’s on the bench….he’s truly killing the Team.

Gafford is our starting Center and should remain the Starting Center. Lively is not tougher or better than Gafford period. Kidd is doing right by having Lively come off the bench.

It’s No way Klay should not be getting any shots in the 1st qtr PERIOD.

    Keep up the Honesty period.
