How the hell is holmberg still on this line up or even in the league … I can name 5 marlie players better than him , guy is an ahler lifer man does nothing , trade Robertson if your not going to use him already
The core 4 should be able to do more then Mcdavid and Leon, those 2 men carry the team. The core 4 are like flattened wheels every game, maybe 1 one of them might be going…might be..most of the times they just embarrass the fan base.
If I hear any excuse for not trying to win after tonight’s game , I will truthfully puke. They surely can’t be tired from last nights game.
I am sure if Leafs lose, we will here b2b excuse – sens played b2b with rangers than seattle and played well and won
I'd like to see Holmberg centering the 4th line, Kampf shifted to right wing, Reaves out and Robertson taking the right wing spot on the 3rd line. Why you ask? Holmberg can do better, Reaves needs load management and should never play back to backs, the team needs to try something different with Kampf and spare players should always be rotated in on the second night of back to backs.
Sure, it's like rearranging the deck chairs on the Titanic but you cannot simply use the same line up when the team loses the 1st night of back to backs the way they just did.
Once the roster is set, Dewar is back and the three spare players of a 23 man roster are a more typical 2 forwards and one defender, then spare player rotation can be used more wisely.
