  1. We had to come out and get on the Panthers and get ahead and it didn’t happen. They really toyed with us and really never had to push that hard, UPL was off too that first goal he was to far back in his net.

  2. Sabres are a 500 team. They can't focus consistently. They take games off collectively. They don't sacrifice for a play. They still haven't learned what it takes. It's in their heads.

  3. Cozens got in some fights and he had never been the same since. Didn’t a guy from Philly beat him up pretty good last year and he missed some games. He doesn’t seem to have the same speed and puck handling moves

  4. Making Dahlin Captain appears to have been a huge mistake as his play this year has been wildly inconsistent. I think he's personally responsible for about 5 goals where he's made horrible brain fog decisions or failed to execute simple assignments. Now we're stuck because benching your Captain is a really bad look, but Dahlin (so far) appears to be psychologically incapable of handling the C.

Ruff also keeps playing guys who are hurt (Dahlin, Benson) or who are rusty from time off (Aubel) and they are costing us goals and games. Benson should CLEARLY go to Rochester, and Dahlin should either sit or drop to 3rd pair until he gets his act together.
