Not Again..

OK Guys, it’s time to review the game last night between the Montreal Canadiens and the Pittsburgh Penguins.. The Habs lose this game by a score of 3-1 .. It’s their 3rd straight loss in a row however.. Due to some reckless play in the 3rd period.. Juraj Slafkovsky may be injured once again as we await an update.. Lets talk about it!

  1. dont you wanna do some video on lineups? there seems to be so many changes past games, that it would be nice to see your view on it… or you save it up on the podcast with GK?

  2. Shoulder to the head is pretty much automatic, I thought. The rest, cross checking, spearing, slashing, seems to be more acceptable among the players. The Kid carrying his team again, and I feel sorry for Montelimar.

  3. That was a real dirty knee by Xhekaj on Acciari but I understand why he did it. Acciari was running guys all game and I'm sure Xhekaj tried to get Acciari to fight and he probably wouldn't, so Xhekaj had to play dirty.

  4. The dirtiest part about this game, you actually showed but laughed about it, was the spear in front of the net by the habs player. Yeah accairi crossed the line a bit, but those plays fall into the “I think he’s dirty but I love it when he plays for my team” kinda thing. A spear in the mid section in no universe is a hockey play, and I would hate that regardless what team the dude plays for.

  5. I didn't think that it was possible to regress, but they have, Monty has a good game and the offense fails and vice versa. Same team, worse results, maybe they win 3 games in November. Who cares it's a bad product they put on the ice, who cares if Slafkovsky is in or not, same results.

  6. Trade Matheson while he's still worth something. Way too many mistakes in the D zone. Too nonchalant with his passing… Great skater but seems to fall on his own more than I'd like to see.

  7. Matheson is 2nd in the NHL in penalty minutes, not on the team, in the NHL! But St Louis will keep punishing Xhekaj, and leave Matheson on the first D pair, first pp line. Throw hutson on the first PP, look what he's doing now, i am starting to get sick of marty and his philosophical bull shit. I know i dont really want this, but right now, it feels like a coach like Torts is exactly what this team needs, stop babying them, and start holding EVERYONE accountable, not just Xhekaj, like all this shit is his fault. He has played better, but, if St louis would let him get some swagger back, he'd find his game. I know he is going to end up getting traded, and if that happens, even fewer people are going to like St louis.

  8. At least Demigod is lighting it up in Russia… This year is a wash already! lol, it's the first of November! lol. I will say it again, and again, Habs need goal scorers, more then they need a right shot D, more then they need a new goaltender, and not just one, we need a few, Caufield can't go on like this all season, he will start to cool off soon, then we r fucked! More then we are now, (Caufield is scoring over 30% of Montreal's goals), lol. I can't believe i actually got a little bit excited in preseason, I have been a Habs fan long enough to know, dont believe in something til u see it happen, even then sometimes with the Habs! lol. I should have known, i have an old friend, he's a Habs fan too, he told me all summer, dont get ur hopes up too high, then we got Laine, and i was all stoked, guess i will listen next time!

  9. Isn't it a standing rule now that it is impossible for a hit to be dirty in a Montreal game especially if a Canadians player is on the receiving end? Or maybe it just seems that way. The hit on Slav is high and I am sure if jerseys were changed around that is 5 and a game.

  10. Sadly Slafkovsky is looking lost out there.. when given toooo much toooo soon . Given play time on top line that really was undeserved

My concern with Slaf from the beginning is he never drove the Suzuki Caufield line … he benefitted from Suzuki and Caulfield

I want Slafkovsky to be Uber successful but he has skipped a step despite his apparentl success last year… go back and look at his results last year… did he drive that line????

  11. Slafwannabe will get 100 goals in career. If he's lucky. Gonna be a sunglass model in russia. Another overhyped hab. Good luck when Laine arrives. He's great at getting goals when they're loosing 5-0 and celebrating like it's important. Another lazy player the Habs will regret signing. Once Gallagher retires th8s team will have zero balls. Unless caufield gets nutted in a faceoff.

  12. Acciari it was predatory for sure in my opinion. But the spearing to Bunting and knee strike on Acciari by Arber are not legitimate plays at all. Challenge him to a fight if you want to get back at him.

  13. i love how habs fans call the hit on slafkovsky dirty but dont even mention the knee on knee xhekaj did, i cant wait till xhekaj leaves montreal and all the habs fans realize how dirty of a player he is
