2. Idk man it makes sense why Brad Holmes waited to get an edge rusher. If we rushed in and tried to trade immediately after the Hutch injury most teams would have squeezed us dry. The fact is that every victory we got after the injury showed that we were capable of winning without an amazing pass rush and made us be able to negotiate from a position of strength. It also had the benefit of making poorly performing teams like the raiders or browns understand they should be in a seller mode rather than hold on to pieces and hope they can make a comeback.

4. If Lions get Crosby and Smith we ain’t losing until next years season in October 2025 if healthy.. I think they’ve been getting a deal with Crosby for the last 2 weeks.. I hope I’m right

5. I don’t think Brad neglected it in the offseason. They picked up Davenport. Unanticipated season ending injuries is what got us with the edge position. I also don’t feel that we waited too long because we haven’t lost since Hutch’s injury and waiting till the deadline often allows for later draft picks to be traded as teams needing to rebuild become more desperate. Showing other teams we continue to win without a pass rush makes it seem we are less desperate and therefore cannot be taken advantage of for selling the farm.

6. I personally dont think Brad can pull it off with Crosby… BUT it is still possible. It would take too much though.

8. Love your content and what you have to say. Getting help for the D- line would definitely help. I just hope we don’t lose Goff to injury. I think that would kill any chance for a Super Bowl

27. Raiders want the whole farm for Maxx 😆 better to see how it’ll go for acquiring him post season even if we win a Super Bowl. His stock could keep falling who knows and he is media trained saying what he has to but his loyalty lies with winning ultimately at the end of the day. Could still be on his way out in the future.

31. I watched Houston and although he got a pressure or two, no double-teams on him. Having a couple of double-teams on edge rushers will make for a super bowl winning defense.

36. why would the jaguars want to trade a guy they just drafted number 1 overall literally just a couple seasons ago. We just have to realize these DE are not easy to get. The making the calls you gone have to sell the farm or they simply not available.

38. Stafford did his job for Detroit 🦁. After that, Stafford gave us a superb owl shot with the trade Stafford. Goff and 2 1st round. Sewell, Laporte, is what we drafted, too. Rams, you got yours. Detroit Lions, it is time to get ours

39. Raiders are blowing at least half the thing up, fired a lot of the offensive coaching staff so maybe the chances of landing Max went from 1% to like 5%. Depending on what Smith cost I wouldn't hate giving up two 1st for Max and Hooker for Max and like a 4th or 5th. I feel like Brad does good enough in the middle rounds that having mostly 2nd and 3rd rounders I'm ok with.

40. We really don't know that he waited too long. We dont know when he called.

    Also, I think we tend to forget it takes two to tango. Brad could've been making calls to teams who thought they still had a chance to turn their season around so waited to deal seriously.

    On the outside trying to peek in, several scenarios should be considered.
