Jay was the best exemplified thorough writer for the Philadelphia Flyers. Rest in peace. Flyers could use that as inspiration this month. Be thankful it wasn't a blowout opening month, too. Powerplay always has to be better.
I am not convinced Couts should be playing with Michkov I would go Frost in the middle and even change up the wings!
Hey guys, love the show! Wanted to comment about the state of offense right now.
With the way the first few games have gone, we had more offensive conversions during the line rotations early on, which seemed to show more defensive issues at the same time. Once we seemed to button up the defense, powerplay and even strength scoring has started to dry up or drop to lower than subsistence level scoring.
With how many young guys are here this year, undoubtedly we are going to see this more. You gotta let the kids improve, however it doesnt have to be in the big club.
I hope that we can move a player or two and pick up a good filler player that can help us transition and make zone entry either this year or next. With a nice in-their-prime player or two to bolster the capavilities that these kids are demonstrating, we may be able to push for the playoffs in a couple years, or at least just work through things together this year. season.
The alleged goal scorers, the two guys on 8 year deals gotta produce.
TK was a bad signing, but that doesn’t mean he isn’t a good player. Tippett cap hit is manageable and I think he will come around. Farabee is a good 3rd line player but if you can get value for him trade him. Frost is not an NHL player. He doesn’t do anything well at this level
