  12. The Giants 3 titles all mean so much more IMO than The Dodgers title this year. Giants did it with homegrown stars (Posey, Panik, Sandoval, Wilson, Lincecum, Bum, Cain, Belt, Crawford, Romo) and smart trades and good value free agent moves (Pence, Huff, Vogelsong, Pagan, Renteria, Torres, Burrell, Casilla, Blanco)

    Personally I don't feel like it would've felt so special if Giants had just gone out and outbid everyone for Pujols, Miggy, Halladay and Cano. Yay!!!! So exciting and fulfilling!

  17. Dave while we wait for our WR corp to get healthy and get more experience*( Jennings& Pearsoll) let's get our 2nd TE'S involved in the passing game more. Teams will always be looking for the great Kittle but our 2nd TE's should be able to get 4-5 catches a game at least!

  19. I’m so tired of hearing the 49ers media make excuses for why they keep doing the same thing. Stop acting like the Cowboys game was a good showing, they barely squeaked by because they did the same shit that they always do. Hold them to account and quit making excuses!

  23. One thing I notice, David, is that sevral of our wins have come, and not really convincing wins, either;
    is over the Jets,
    the Patriots,
    The Cowboys. ALL who R in the lower quadrant of Low DVOA …
    MEans we're beating not very good teams.
    The Sea Chickens R not much better, very close to the ZERO line.
    Just a quick solution, I think our speed and football intelligence at Linebacker R weak, been that way for several seasons. Fred , of course the exception, the superstar.
    but others R either not quick enuf, or not prepared enuf. I mean how is it that Fred and Patrick Willis were already stars at this point. of their career I don't have any quick fix solutions, but we miss a lot there.
    We had the chance to bring in Roquan Smith from Chicago, who was clearly a great star at Georgia, AND at Chicago, we didn't go get him.
    We didn't bother to sign Azeez Al-Shair, who has been a leading tackler, whenever he was in the game for the Niners, his name was constantly being called.
    That goes to the GREED factor I'm always talkin' about. If you get paid AMONG THE LEADERS like every great corporation, but not THE leader, U should be OK, and leave some room for other great players to be signed.
    TRENT, DEEBO, AIYUK. George, BOSA, HARGRAVE even if they ALL give back a Million, there be such ian infusion of talent it would make a huge difference.
    This is a weakness of the 9ers " Sign the best, Screw the rest" Philosophy you David have pointed out. And then you WASTE draft picks on Trey, you have a huge WHOLE in your draft well because they R lower paid guys strategy.
    For CMC, a PROVEN STAR? YES, absolutely.
    For an UN-PRVEN colllege guy who hasn't played a lot of high level games, BIG risk… COVID era caused a LOT of mistakes, and we'll just have to walk this one out.
