Why Ryan Poles MUST END The Matt Eberflus Experiment

Why Ryan Poles MUST END The Matt Eberflus Experiment

Chicago Bears Rumors are smoking hot as Matt Eberflus’ hot seat status couldn’t be warmer. The Bears lost to the Cardinals 29-9 on Sunday and fell to 4-4 on the 2024 NFL Season. Eberflus is now 0-18 in Sunday road games as the Bears head coach, but more importantly, he did not have his team ready to play after last week’s heartbreaking loss to the Commanders. Will Ryan Poles finally fire Eberflus and end this era? Chat Sports host Harrison Graham explores Eberflus’ status + responds to a report from Brad Biggs of the Chicago Tribune as he said that the Bears should consider demoting Shane Waldron and making Thomas Brown or Kerry Joseph the new Bears offensive coordinator.

  1. Ryan poles needs to go as well….

Missed on a QB in the draft twice, stroud and JD

Hired flus then kept him to return with a new QB

Hired shane waldron instead of reuniting kliff with caleb for his rookie season

Havent had a good OLINE since poles got here

Missed on every single draft pick execpt, gordon and brisker

Hit or miss on trade making…

Poles has to go as well as the whole coaching staff

  2. I wish it would be Ben Johnson but it’s the bears .. they won’t wanna pay the premium on a super winning OC .. the bears will over pay for Lincoln Riley

  3. They won’t fire him mid season. They should, but they won’t. The other problem is players. I see one dude playing with heart out there and that’s the rookie QB. Yes, he missed some passes. But the WR room dropped more than he missed. Hell DJ literally walked off the field while Caleb was scrambling for his life. If you aren’t seriously injured you don’t leave the field in the middle of a play unless you’re a complete bitch! Sorry DJ, you lost me forever with that one. Zero heart, very little effort. The team has given up.

  4. Owners will never allow a HC’s name be bigger than Chicago Bears hence continuing to experiment. They get rid of coaches that start having a name. Bears will never go after an established/smart HC. The team (& fan base) is doomed.

  5. All Flus had to do was sincerely take blame for the sequence of events leading to the fail mary. But arrogance, and lack of accountability, is Flus's reflection on players like Tyrique.

Elevate Richard Hightower to interim HC, a coach that players will at least fight for.

  6. Poles lost me when he traded Fields! Here’s why… it meant he was choosing a new gamble vs the known and gelling team, plus to start a rookie challenges over again, PLUS keep the same O line that SUCKED, and Fields could barely survive! It meant any QB would perish!! Then passing on Harbaugh? Poles and crew need to go!

  7. you know what's weird I'm usually really mad after a bear's loss , the way they lost to Washington and going against Arizona this week , I'm starting to get used to expecting it again , flus might be a great guy but that's not what this team needs, what this team needs is a competent coaching staff offense, defense, and special teams , I thought I would like Eric Washington but if he had anything to do with play calling yesterday he can go too .. I'm sorry guys but this just isn't good enough
