How far away is Bedard from contending for a cup?
Holy damn the use of Goldeneye Nintendo 64 music!!!! Epic choice!!
This is what buffalo has been doing to players the whole playoff drought. I hate it as a buffalo fan, but we keep losing players that win the cup after getting out of buffalo
This is a stupid video. The Blackhawks have won the cup 3 times since 2010. The Leafs haven't won since 67.
Hey dude the Blackhawks one 3 Stanley Cups
rob talks bullshit.
What’s next? Are the Sharks ruining Celebrini????
Most rebuilding teams have period with their superstar player sucking
Bedard is wasting his time and talent with the hawks
I don’t think one quote actually says that this kid is frustrated. I think he was just honest and trying to take a step towards being part of the leadership core instead of quietly begging for a trade…the heck kinda bush league crap did I just watch ??
They're really not doing bad
Bedard is also way smaller than those other big 4 (OV, Sid, CM, AM). He needs to grow, and grow a lot or he will get pushed around his whole career and probably risk a lot more injuries.
Look at it like this:
Crosby had Malkin
Kane had Toews
Chicago made a HUGE fumble not taking Demidov. They could have picked him, let him play another year in Russia, and have another top 3 pick that they could have used to take a defenseman next years draft. I could be wrong, but I don't think the Hawks will get a better player at this upcoming draft than Demidov.
golden eye music. Auto like.
Funny that Toronto still couldn't win a cup in 38 years without a salary cap
Every 1st overall pick joins a shitty team – by definition.
Even without the cap, how did Toronto not win a cup? Do a story on that. Hypothetically, it would be the biggest story as to how the Yankees managed to never win a World Series, well it’s reality with Toronto.
The wasting of draft picks and frivolous trades would mean more if Chicago never won a cup, they did. Chicago was a dynasty for many years and they couldn’t afford to keep great players. This isn’t even close to the travesty that is the Leafs, my other favourite team.
Breaking BadArd
i would love to see guys like bedard refuse to re-sign with the team that drafted them to put and end to this tank culture the NHL is becoming plagued by so teams stop purposefully trying to lose
Pay me $950,000 annually for 3 years and you can try to "break me" while playing a game I've loved all my life and would play for FREE. Bring your checkbook and let's boogie.
Great player but I don’t really care for him
He's coming to Vancouver where he belongs!
Man this video is just a mess. I understand youre saying its sucks to be in Chicago right now but thats nothing compared to Buffalo. Honestly its a non-story that Bedard hates losing. Its a pretty common reaction.
Salary Cap changes dynasties, but doesnt since the Blackhawks, Kings, Penguins, and Tampa all had dynasties since then i guess. (Since you used the Penguins 2 is enough.)
Who in their right mind would want to be a Kings fan right now with them looking purgatory in the face with (surprisingly durable) ancient stars in Doughty and Kopitar costing what 22 million and because of the playoff format you are gonna get waxed by Edmonton (probably) or maybe Colorado or Dallas or Winnipeg which are far better examples of rebuilding slowly and being relevant in the right way ie. Deep playoff runs.
Sorry Jets fans, gotta reach back to 2018 for that but still what a team that was, f*cking Byfuglien f*cks off and ruins everything.
Why arent you looking at the Bruins who last won in umm 2011? Made the Cup Final in 2019 and have been a consistent in fact outstanding team from then to now? Even losing top goal tenders like Rask and Thomas, or captains like Chara and Bergeron only to find new great talent?
But let me enlighten you. You know what makes dynasties? Terrific goaltending. Period. You look at any great team and it starts at center but the man with a mask can take it all away.
Islanders = Smith.
Oilers = Fuhr.
Detroit = Osgood, Vernon, Hasek
Chicago = Crawford.
Penguins = Fleury.
Tampa = Vasilevsky.
Actually, Tampa has 7, Ryan McDonagh is back on the team
