  3. After watching Detroit yesterday, I could not help thinking how GREAT Brock would be if we had an offensive line as good as theirs! Even though GOFF isn't a great QB, almost anyone would look great if they had as much time to throw as he gets from his OL.
    We should be consintrating on trying to come up to their caliber on the OL.

  6. Dave you use the term " not a plan the niners subscribe to". Maybe Steve is right, Shanahan needs to "subscribe to" ideas like Young's! Put CMC in the slot say, and Mason& Guarendo in the backfield ( give Kittle a rest on these)and make defences figure out what the hell is going to happen. 😅😅

  13. Dave if they insist on keeping Conley on the field most of the time which their doing, then let's see him get some catches.
    The guy can play and is very tall, be good in the N ZONE!

  17. It should be interesting. Papa Kyle will be the most interesting person to watch. He has drawn up a set system. He isn't having a middle-age crisis, but he has become more conservative. His faith in his system fixes his attention on finding the two or three players to man it, who will "turn it on." I don't think that he has any thought of innovation or gimmicks. He is probably tending in the opposite direction now. Maybe CMC will be a boost, although its not easy to see how he could avoid the effects of "rust," even if he largely overcomes the Achilles issues. This could be Kyle's Superbowl year, if Lady Luck is a lady the rest of 2024.

  22. having key players back helps any team in the NFL. but SF still needs to play a lot better at all phases of the game and that's less about health and more about having your head in the game and not making dumb mistakes

  23. I am still kind of wanting him to not play for a game or 2. Just practice, and stay healthy for the end of year push. The West is still for the taking, I think even without him it's a wild card game for us.

  31. Cardinals have a light remaining schedule and I see them winning at least 6 or 7 more for a 10-7 or 11-6. 49ers have to beat AZ and win at least 5 more to win Division. No NFC West team gets in as wildcard.

  32. I might be in the minority, but i wouldn't bring CMC back this year. I would let his body heal. Kyle is gonna run him into the ground. Which will not be good in the end for the franchise.

  34. Well CMC was running tentatively sorry to say- leaning forward in that vid. Maybe to transfer pressure to the front of the ankle. Anyway, time will quickly tell. Can't fake healthy achilles.
