Milwaukee Bucks drop sixth straight game after losing to the Cavs, 114-116 | Bucks drop to 1-6

The Milwaukee Bucks are off to a rocky start, sitting at 1-6 in the Eastern Conference after a 116-114 loss to the Cleveland Cavaliers. With star players Giannis Antetokounmpo and Khris Middleton sidelined, the Bucks almost stole this game but had too many lapses late in the fourth quarter. AJ Green’s impressive seven three-pointers and Andre Jackson Jr.’s defensive energy against the Cavaliers offer a glimmer of hope. Can young talents like Green and Jackson step up to fill the void?

Join Camille Davis and Frank Madden as they explore the Bucks’ challenges and opportunities, and discuss what it will take for them to climb the standings.

  1. I said it way back when it happened, Doc Rivers is a slow acting lethal poison to a team. The only thing left to figure out is how many years it'll take to resurrect from this utterly predictable catastrophe. We're probably looking down the barrel of pre Giannis irrelevancy for close to a decade, if we're lucky, maybe more.

  2. Dame drove me crazy tonight. His body language absolutely sucked. He’s getting paid $48 million to wave off the ball for half the possessions, be lackluster on defense, and foul hunt? I truly feel compassion for him as a human being and how much of an adjustment this has to be but MY GOD. Show some pride!!!! For as much as they charge us for these damn tickets, pick your head up and be aggressive!!!!

  3. I’m also concerned with how little Bobby fits in with our main guys. If he isn’t the point of emphasis offensively/defensively, he just can’t assimilate to what is needed and muddies up the game. He’s an excellent basketball player but this roster does not make sense for him. He’d be perfect for a team like the clippers who have defense but not enough creation

  4. The Cleveland Cavaliers… whipped….that…ASS! It has been fun the pass few years Milwaukee. You had your run but now there is a new hierarchy. The land! Has arrived. Gooo Cavs!

  5. I will never understand the moments Bobby decides he’s Magic Johnson and that he’s the guy who needs to dribble the ball up the floor it’s literally always ends poorly.

  6. Camille is completely right! The time when Dame came in and we went like 3 possessions to Bobby. It made no since to me. Bobby can't beat Mobley or Allen. I don't even think he can beat slow lazy Nieng . smh
