The Cincinnati Bengals have made a trade! They’re sending a 2025 seventh round pick to the Chicago Bears for running back Khalil Herbert.

James Rapien explains why he likes the move, how Herbert will fit next to Chase Brown with Zack Moss out with a neck injury and also discusses what else could be coming ahead of Tuesday’s trade deadline!

  1. For a 7th rounder, and we fill an immediate need, good trade. I'm shocked that they traded at all (Remind me when we made any trades to at the deadline other than the Carson Pamer trade). WHO DEY!!!!!!

  2. I like this trade. Giving a 7th rounder for him don't hurt my feelings at all. Now defense defense defense. Get a corner and/or DE and/or a blitzing linebacker. Micah Parsons would make me cry tears of joy but it's not possible. We gonna get marathon lattimore just watch. I don't like what it'll cost though. Give up a 3rd rounder for Reddick or Crosby and throw in tanner Hudson. Give whatever they fuck the cowboys want for Micah Parsons

  3. Fellas, he is small, like Geico Gecko small, and so "good" that Chicago, who is 4 n 4 , wasn't using him. Why? Listed at 5 ft 9 and 212, I bet he is really 5 ft 7.4 inches tall and weighs in at 202 lbs without the helmet and pads.

The important stats are this year ONLY. We get this year's KH, not the previous years and running backs have a short shelf life. This year 8 shuffles for a total of 16 yards. 2 receptions for a grand amount of 4 yards. In a TOTAL of 10 endeavors, KH provided 20 yards. Where are the chunk plays?!!! James , brother you are a sling the ball around the ole' yard kinda guy, you think KH is going to be a weapon for Joe??? Seriously brother c'mon.

Giving up even a 7th rounder for a used car with too many miles is not trying to win. A no name rookie off the street or a rookie on someone's practice squad could bring similar value, except at least they have a fresh body. This is so minimal of an effort that unless this guy goes out and beats the Ravens single handedly, I grade it as an F. Maybe today Mike Brown and Jermain Burton can compare pajamas at the office today.

Someone please CUE up the BOOOS

  4. Slow your rolls on this. This is a move they could have made AFTER they addressed the DE and CB issues. This is simply a move to say that they made a move. It's crap.

  5. I’ll fully admit when I was wrong didn’t see this coming. Though this is doing the minimum. Again I didn’t see them doing this but getting a CB or DE we are acting like an actual contender. This seems more like they are trying to keep Joe happy more than trying to win a Lombardi.

  6. Now let’s Fire our damn Coach!!! Looks at the Commander and Cards.. fired their coaches and are good teams now! Why can’t bears do the same

  7. Die hard Bears fan here with a scouting report for Herbert.

He’s a solid back. He’s gonna break more tackles than you think he will. He’s not blazing with speed but fast enough. Ball security is not an issue. He’s gonna go north to south with just enough shift and wiggle to make you happy with him as a fan. He’s a solid lockeroom vet that has extremly fresh legs, he’s hungry and happy as hell to leave Chicago. He’s not the best pass receiver but capable and leaves something to be desired in pass protection more than not. All on all if we’re just talking about between the 20’s running and short yardage gains he will fill these needs nicely. If you want YAC or the homerun ball this is not your guy. He will more than likely benefit and compliment the Bengals elite passing game very nicely. Solid player. Enjoy… you won the trade hands down

  8. LMAO getting an RB for a 7th is absolutely not being aggressive hahaha. This is a pathetic move that barely moves the needle unless we make some actual moves and help the defense
