  1. Stroud doesn't look so great without a field full of weapons. Flaco is probably in for viks bills lions and maybe the jets, they didn't want ar's confidence destroyed. He plays that stretch they're probably going him out of the building for the next 2 years.

  2. Hey Kent, the Colts have failed Richardson, the fans, and themselves. Steichen isn’t using Richardson how they need to. They need to run the DAMN ball at least 40 times every game. For example, if they have 70 total plays, they should run it 45-50 times and pass 20-25. Hell, 25 passes may be too much for now. Run Taylor 30 times and Richardson 10 times every game. I don’t care who gets hurt because AR passing that much is just not sustainable. Until he gets better, they have to run 66% of the time.

  3. The truth is AR is a commodity to the Colt's. Developed or not! He could be traded, kept, or released. He is subject to the needs of the organization. My best guess is that they will try to develop him. But next year some good rookie QB's might be considered as well.

  4. AlexRollinsNFL did an excellent video on why Richardson is NOT the answer for the Colts until he dramatically improves the mental side of the game. He's staring down receivers. He's late on his throws. He's so inaccurate that he is causing drops and PBUs.

  5. Richardson should be with a much better franchise than the Colts. One that doesn't have very judgemental & terrible fan base. Cowboys fans are better than the Colts at least they are optimistic.

  6. The Purdue game was closer than expected because Painter was letting all the freshman get some burn early in the season. He knows he needs to get them developed as quickly as possible.

  7. Would love to see us trade for lattimore to sure up the secondary.

Or another option at RB i do like goodson but neither him or sermon brings enough to the team to be a reliable second option.

  8. The Colts brought in a backup QB that had no intention if helping AR become better. I would rather they bring in a lesser backup QB that would help AR. This year was to develop AR not to make the playoffs. It would be very difficult to do both. Now the Colts are going to continue to be mediocre.

  9. Drafting Richardson was not a mistake. He had and still has a lot of upside, but we always knew he was a project QB. If you look at every NFL Draft since Luck retired (2020-pres), there has NEVER been an opportunity for the Colts to draft a Pro Bowl QB in the first round. AR was the first time anyone with Pro Bowl upside was on the board when the Colts made their first selection.

  10. AR has 10 games under his belt. Daniel Jones has 71. What are we doing? We knew he was raw, we knew there were going to be highs and lows…why are we knee-capping this kid ten games into his career?

  11. JOE FLACCO LITERALLY SCORED 0 POINTS SPECIAL TEAMS SCORED 6 AND THE DEFENSE SCORED 7 POINTS WITH 2 INT! IS THIS THE LEARNING FOR AR? 🤔🤔🤔🤔🤔🤔🤔🤔🤔🤔🤔🤔🤔🤔🤔

  12. PEYTON MANNING IN HIS FIRST YEAR THREW 26 INT AR STARTED 10 GAMES! COME ON NOW! DID JOE FLACCO LOOK LIKE A 17 YEAR VETERAN ON 11/03/2024 0R A PLAYER WHO PLAYED 10 GAMES IN THE NFL?🤔🤔🤔🤔🤔🤔🤔

  13. The Colts Football Team Inc. wants to make money. That is all. They want hope because hope generates money. They want to avoid catastrophe because catastrophe is bad for business.

Kent: "There is no hope…" (goes on two sentences later to say there is hope…)

  14. Kent, your appeal as a commentator exceeds sports. In the tradition of the Indy Star's greats like Bob Collins, Robin Williams and Bob Kravitz you actually bring creative "journalism" to your posts. Keep on keeping on with the "wordsmithing", my friend. So enjoyable and it sets you a step above others!

  15. The top 3 QB's in that draft were already selected. AR was the next best QB available. Ballard had no choice and Colts needed a QB. Personally I would have continued signing fading star free agent QB's until we have a season so bad that we get #1 pick. As much as I don't like Ballard, he picked the best QB available

  16. Kent , In my opinion the reason richardson and flacco has not looked good is that the O-line sucks. No QB in the world can play behind that O-line this year. Those guys were good a few years ago but get worse every year. Does anyone else on here see that?
