  6. Said this numerous times. Wemby has a pretty weak base, if you are stronger and get close to him using your lower body strength, dude just cant bully you the same way. This is why i think guys like Ron Artest would cause real issues for Wemby…now if you got a guy who has more height on top of that, I think Wemby would have to settle for jumpers.

This begs a good question in that Wemby body type is so "alien" and singular that even if he bulks up like he did, he can't body anybody since his chest is not at anybody else's chest, Dillon Brooks chest is at Wemby waist level. Can't simply just bump somebody off. It's a fun puzzle to solve– how to maximize his agility and perimeter skills without being exposed and exploited– I see similar to how Steph's powers were unlocked when they refined the quick pass and relocate three with Draymond. That is after the defender had to run through 5 screens in one possession. Will be fun to see how they solve this puzzle.

  24. Wembanyama is 7'5 yet plays like a 6'2 scoring pg smh. If you're not taking advantage of your size and mismatches at that size what good are you? KD can post up, dribble around, shoot over the top of guys and move the ball out of the double team at 6'11/7ft smh. Wembanyama doesn't post up nearly enough and he doesn't utilize his size and athleticism. He should be the best pick and roll player in the league and for the love of gawd why is he shooting so many 3's? He's not a good enough 3pt shooter for all of the attempts he's taking smh.

  34. This defensive approach was already implemented on him 2 years ago in French league playoffs ( 35 year old 6'7 Kahudi ) guarded Wembi like this,this is grat approach for dominant players i seen Jokic being guarded like this few times aswell (if not they waste 6 hard fouls on him)
