  1. That sounds like a man who knows that he has already been told his bosses are willing to go to a certain point for Soto 🤣🤣 the Yankees are making excuses already lol

  2. Time to move on from Boone . His record is due to his players not him .Makes the dumbest moves in baseball . Makes decisions based on analysis, not gut . Why would you bring in Cortez to pinch when he hasn’t pitch in five or six weeks Dumb !!!!!!!!!!

  3. How about we get rid of Cashman and Boone. The leadership needs to change. because the decision making from the managerial level from both Boone and Cashman has not been working for the past 3 years. If Steinbriener is not wise emeough to see this then Yankees fans should expect another year of failure

  4. The play is to push the bid as high, and more importantly, as long as possible while not winning the bidding war. Long term high dollar value contracts rarely work. Hamstring another club for a decade.

  5. Sounds like they are not confident they will sign Soto. Miss the old Boss Steinbrenner days that they would sign the best no matter what. And no championship is a failure. This is not your dad’s Yankees for sure. Sad…Hare to say it but he will likely be a Met.

  6. Soto isn't going to the Mets. The money he'd lose by just not being on the Yankees from endorsements, clothing companies etc, commercials is more than the difference in any contract the Mets can offer.

  7. let Soto walk; yankees have 2 holes in the infield that need to be filled, bullpen; let Jason play; Judge in the outfield and one other outfielder needs to be signed.

  8. Anyone saying let him go does not understand how impactful he was this year, without him we maybe make a wild card. Soto is the reason judges rbi numbers looked absurd and only way we made it through those playoff series

  9. i just want the best team possible for next year and i hope we make some positive ones to impact this team. we can't wait on Soto because the best options out there could be taken off the board go build a team. we don't need Soto to win a world title if you build this team right.

  10. Soto wants to sign with a winning team not a second class citizen like the Mets. It will be a name brand Yankees who he knows he can make so much more off the field thru endorsements & just representing the pinstripes. He not gonna wear orange & blue😂😂😂

  11. F#$@ Soto. Keep the money and find EIGHT GUYS WHO CAN GET ON BASE 30% OF THE TIME. And beg Mo to come back, I'm sure at 50 he's better then the bum's in the pen. But it won't matter because, you kept the same manager. Keep doing the same things and expect a different out come, is what?
