Indianapolis Colts – Anthony Richardson “off-limits”! Ballard passes on chance to change narrative!

Anthony Richardson “off-limits” which means no team is willing to meet the Colts needs in a trade.
Chris Ballard had every chance to change the team narrative for a few days by making a mostly meaningless trade, but chose not to – and that is admirable.
Ryan Kelly goes on IR right after conclusion of the video, but worth adding in the description.
College Football Playoff bracket release may show a 7/10 game between IU and Notre Dame.

  1. this season is and has been all about Anthony's devolepment. doing what ever is need to get AR ready. even the benching. its what THEY think is best for Anthony right now and moving foward. Trading him would be the wrost thing they could do for the colts. Another clunker from Joe, and the season's in the can. maybe AR comes back but who knows. the colts are not going to tell us anything. who knows whats real and whats gamesmenship. but i cant watch the scheme from game 1 to now and think anything but, colts are trying to devolop Ar, not win games. call it what u want! opening games with 7 str8 drop backs every time AR is under center dosnt seem like a winning formula. but thats what they do. what they did vs texans. every game i would run AR atleast 2 times in the first quarter, right out the gate. mixing mostly JT runs and a few AR runs. play fakes every snap. 2 guys in the back field, one guys a fake, one guy goes this way, AR go that way, JT up the middle. and a deep shot here n there. seems simple too me. VS texans they had 1 toss sweep play, that went for 12. COME BACK TO IT!. Id do it again, and it gets 10, im a do it again! im a do it till they stop it. WE STOP OUR SELFS. after every big run, damn near EVERY time after every big run, 3 straight passes and a PUNT……. go back and watch full games, not highlights. this shit happens none stop, specially first halfs of games. every body says we start slow, that why. they ask AR to throw it 3 str8 times. MAYBE ar is checking out of runs? i dont think he has the power at the line. but i dont know shit, and nobody gonna tell us

  2. real problem our fans cant except, theres no trades that could help this team. its about the QB. if AR was balling, then maybe there would a been. this hurts next years free agents too. as in, the free agents that will not be coming here, and every one going crazy like last off season

  3. It would be silliness to trade Richardson 🤔 why is ballard under .500 because he didn't draft Allen mooney and branch. We could get more production from a kidvout of juco than juju burnts island

  4. CJ Stroud was the best QB in the first round that year. If we hadn't taken him 4th… nobody would have drafted him in the first round? He might have waited as long as the guy from Kentucky waited for Tennessee to pick him? Colts fans want to be positive about choices made at the time even though we all have doubts. That said this organization has been notorious for making bad personell decisions including the coaching merry go round we've had going on since Tony Dungee.

  5. No trades, no change in last year's roster, no free agency, no upward moves in the draft…I could do Ballard's job on my lunch hour. Being "steadfast" in failure is not admirable.

  6. Being steadfast is only admirable when it yields positive results, but when you have the results Ballard has had, your just stubborn, and he can only afford to be that because his owner has given him a rubber stamp of approval for everything he does. His act is growing really old on me, I dont know about you.

  7. Kent your better then bring the juice them guys cry around and bring bad publicity to the colts you actually listen to fans and address fans questions

  8. The NFL Colts had no business drafting Anthony Richardson with the 4th overall pick of the 2023 draft. He had a career 6-7 record as the starting QB of the Florida Gators, that is a .461 winning %. Anthony Richardson didn’t draft himself onto the Colts however the bottom line is he’ll never be anybody’s QB1 or QB2, in fact if the Colts can’t put him on the path to play another position the odds are very high he’ll be out of the NFL at the end of the his rookie contract.

  9. I'm hoping Indy brings in Justin Fields in the offseason if he becomes available to compete with AR next year. Fields much better fits the style of play Steichen wants to do, if indeed he wants to employ that Jalen Hurts type offense. Then in the draft focus on corner early as it's seemingly a good class.

  10. Bo Nix would have been a good addition, but he was gone. I could tell watching him as a senior that he was going to be a competent NFL QB — which is what he is. Not a star, not a Top 10 talent, but a competent NFL QB.
