4. Hi Mac! I disagree with you on the missed calls by the officials on Sam. If the officials can’t see those hits on the Q B then one of three things are happening, first , the official is not qualified or he is not ready to work in the Billion dollar League like the NFL, in that case suspend them and give them more training until they are ready to come back. Second, if the officials say they didn’t see the hit on the QB then hire more officials to correct the problem. The NFL makes billions in their business so they can afford to do that. Number 3, officials watch the QBs more closely of the top teams such as Kansas City. The easiest way to fix this is to hire more OFFICIALS.6

5. If the things that happened (on two scoring plays btw) to Darnold happened to Mahomes the offending players probably would have been ejected.

7. Counting cap hit id take Darnold. Not counting cap hit, I'd take Kirk any day. Kirk looks by far better than he did in week 1. He has a by far better field of vision than Darnold and knows how to spread the ball around. So at this point in time, give me Kirk

8. Kirk+Hunter for the same money we got Greenard, Van Ginkle, Tillery, Ward, Cashman, Griffin, Jones, Darnold. And were able to add Gilmore late.

   It’s not even close the impact those players have had on this team vs having to pay Kirk and Hunter the contracts they wanted and the holes that would be there if the Vikes had gone that route.

11. Refs miss calls, and there are calls I simply don't agree with. I happen to think the Vikings were the benefactors on several PI calls in their first 5 games. It doesn't mean they wouldn't have won those games….but it didn't hurt. Once in a great while a single bad call will crush a team's chances to win a game. I wasn't as outraged about the no call on the Darnold strip fumble TD as I was about execution on that play.

17. That one of these guys had a torn achiles is oddly not mentioned.
    That Kirk never got hurt until the injury last year oddly not mentioned.
    That Darnold has yet to play a full season w/o injury oddly not mentioned.
    That Phil mentions Kirk's 500 yard passing game is also odd, seeing how Darnold hasn't had a 300 yard passing game, even with the best wide receiver in the NFL.
    That Kirk still lives rent free in Phils head………priceless.

20. So, not continuing to pay Cousins outrageous money is OK, even though he touched the ball on every play. But it OK to pay Jefferson 30+ mil when he touches the ball 7-9 times?!! YOu guys might think you are experts on the Vikings, but your justifications are ridiculous!!! No player is worth 30+ mil a year salary. If anyone is, though, it's a QB, not a WR!!!!!

    Like saying the 500 yard game really benefited Kirk while totally ignoring the 97 yard TD pass for Darnold benefited him.
    Lets look at ESPN stats, shall we?
    Kirk has thrown for more yards than Darnold despite the MASSIVE contrast in receiver talent.
    Kirk (the immobile one) has lost 125 yards from sacks. Darnold has lost 168 yards.
    Kirks QBR is 60. Darnolds is 58.4
    Kirk is getting better as the season progresses. Darnold is reverting back to the same ole Darnold as the season progresses.
    ANYONE can cherry pick stats Phil.
    20 years from now, Phil is STILL going to be dissing Kirk Cousins.
