The Vancouver Canucks beat the Anaheim Ducks 5-1. Quinn Hughes gets to 300 assists, Kiefer Sherwood put up points and pissed off Trevor Zegras, Kevin Lankinen was a beast and the Canucks cruise to an easy victory. Elias Pettersson, Jake DeBrusk and Brock Boeser also all had goals!

  1. Canucks are warming up, they will go on a heater! Petey will pickup, Joshua and Demko will return to the team soon.

Lekkerimaki, Willander and Raty will join the team later in the year to gear up for a cup run.

  3. That Hughes assist may not stand. They keep changing one of his assists to a goal then changing back to Pettersson. As of this moment he is being credited with a goal and not an assist. But that may change yet again.

  4. It's weird to say this but Hughes has been so consistently good it's almost boring to talk about how good he's been. 25 years old and he's elevated his game again

Nice to see Pettersson get rewarded for his solid play the last handful of games, he played a big role in setting up Suter's winner the other night too. The guy is still a 100 point talent even if he's had a rough start to the season production wise, I just want him to stay healthy and able to play the kind of hockey that helps this team win games in the playoffs.

  5. Question: I’m new to doing highlights and I’m not able screen record stuff like this. I was just wondering how you’re able to do it. Would greatly appreciate any advice! Great breakdown of the game 👍

  6. Petey’s on a heater after that shift last game, you can see he’s starting to find his footing. I think it’s interesting to look at how he’s trying to work around his knee, when you look at his one-t form, he really flexes that back knee. Given how many he was shooting, I wonder if that’s the real cause of the tendinitis. But the plays have been good, he doesn’t look bad and the plays are coming. Soon, the Ikea Throne will be his again as Top Swede.

  7. The Kings are fairly good but going to California these days to play San Jose, Anaheim and the Kings is a nice trip. I remember years ago it was a death trap going to California.

  8. Peterson is improving bit by bit it feels . . but he's gotta figure it out.
Had ATLEAST 3 chances with tons of time, and wide open shot from the hashmarks/circle, and just wiffes or flubbes it.
