Why The Philadelphia Phillies Signing Juan Soto Is Absolutely A Realistic Possibility

In today’s episode, it’s time for the Juan Soto episode! Connor discusses why the Philadelphia Phillies, and every team in baseball, really, should be lined up to try and sign Soto in free agency this year, and just what it would mean for the franchise if they were actually able to acquire him and add him to an already star-studded lineup. Next, how realistic is it, though, that the Phillies could end up winning the Soto sweepstakes? Well, maybe more realistic than some people would have you believe! Finally, a quick evaluation of Zack Wheeler’s 2024 season, an absolutely dominant campaign for the Phils’ ace.

  1. Locked on Phillies., I am a Yankees fan but enjoy your channel Connor Thomas. I would say for Soto will mainly be The Yankees, Mets, Phillies, Giants, Nationals, and Dodgers. I do not feel the Dodgers really need Soto. They won the World Series without him. LOL. I think the Phillies need to relieve a ton of salary for Soto though. Like getting rid of Schwarber, even try releasing Tre Turner, a good pitcher. The Phillies will not dismantle their whole team to bring in Soto I do not think? I do think the Phillies will try but money-wise they will not match the Yankees or Mets for Soto. The Trea Turner Contract is a killer for the Phillies! But in my opinion first three teams for soto-Yankees, Mets, And the Phillies. Just giving my thoughts.
