Love to see this. Keep it up, Jets. ✈️
OV last season was taking heat because of what was going on in Ukraine, the man has a heart
Great video guys.
Appreciate Bruce’s comment on the 1 bad week thing because it’s exactly what’s happened to the community at large, all off-season everyone was writing us off for serious regression as if they forgot the fact that we were absolutely dominant again in the regular season, and our trade pickups near the deadline hadn’t performed spectacularly. We’re proving all the doubters wrong though and I’m really happy to see us getting some respect.
Jets are looking great.
After he turned 30, Gretzky had only 2 30+ seasons; 3 if you count the 1990-91 season when he turned 30 in the middle of the season. Outside of the Covid shortened season, OV has scored 30+ goals in every season since his 30th birthday. And during the shortened season, OV scored at a 30+ pace. OV is going to get the record
Thanks for reminding people that the Jets swept the Avs in the regular season last year Jay.
Absolutely. Jets had a bad week during the playoffs.
The playoff losses aren't even Hellebuyck's fault, but people just see goals scored against and assume goalie shit the bed.
I have yet to see someone properly analyze what went wrong in the series against the Avs, which is the Jets 100% abandoned their system to try and match Colorado's.
The Avs are a FAST run and gun team that will tire you out with their speed from end to end.
The Jets are not built for that kind of hockey, but rather than playing their responsible puck protection game, where you move the puck well, make it hard for other teams to move/gain speed, and suffocate their breakout, they instead tried to match their speed game, and could not keep up. Jets then got frustrated, and started playing irresponsibly in the defensive end and abandoned their defensive identity that helped them find success all year long.
Anyone who is a Jets fan knows that the series we saw in April was NOT the jets, but instead a complete breakdown of structure because they got pulled into playing a style of game that is a better advantage to their opponents.
