Are they even in talks with Vladdy? They're shopping, and they have no solid foundation. Insane!
Extending Vlad is lower on my priority list. He's no Ohtani or Soto, but I'm sure he won't accept much less at this point.
If the jays are going for guys like Soto and Ohtani, I dont worry about Vlad. His money has probably been set aside for a few years to collect interest.
This soto piece needs to fall first. Theres time to wait. No one is doubting the Jays ability to pay him
