9. The fact that us Bears fan have to really think about this question is depressing. It wasn’t supposed to be like this. The media said Caleb was the next coming. He is NOT.

10. I've never seen the NFL draft hype machine do so much damage. Everyone covering the draft told an outright lie about Caleb Williams and set totally wrong expectations. Saying the Williams was this polished, pro ready QB prospect when he is the opposite, an extremely high upside but a project QB that was (is) facing one of the steepest learning curves ever for any top QB prospect. Drake Maye and Jayden Daniels were the polished, pro ready QBs that had spent years playing in pro style offensive systems. While Williams has never played in a pro system, not even in a system close to a pro system, he played in a unique one-off offensive system Kliff Kingsbury created just for Williams.
    So Bears fans were expecting Justin Herbert or CJ Stroud type rookie season (or Jayden Daniels), when they should've been told the truth, Williams will be closer to Josh Allen, Payton Manning type rookie season.
