6. Let’s be real. This offense is more sustainable in the playoffs than the 2 years ago offense. The game slows down for half court offense in the playoffs,and I think another thing u should keep in mind Matt. Runnin up and down the floor like the year 1 offense, seems like it fatigues players on the defensive end. The way we are playing now feels like our offense is more creative with the way we score compared to relying on the 3pt , which felt like we shot ourselves out the game last year and didn’t know what else to do. And with the short rotation there’s no way they can run up the floor and be consistent on both ends. I think it easy to say the offense isn’t as fun when u play teams like the raptors

7. My theory is the same as last year. When they're on the road, it's all business. When they're home, it's all about family. And Fox and Sabonis have newborns. So they're sluggish at home. Especially the first home game after a long road trip.

8. First really positive game. I know it was agains tor at home with them missing key players. But still. It just somehow finally looked right. Best part was that ellis was in game ending unit. And it worked great. He had much much better ofg per 100 ratio then huerter. He must start.
   Fantastic game from sabonis. Next to all those visible numbers and records he had 219 per 100. Its just wow. His impact even with reduced role is something. He has 3% less usag ratio. Below 20%. He had lower only in his debut season. But man he delivers.
   I hope so much that they gonna trade huerter for dfs. Use pick if needed. Doug can cover big part what huerter does or supose to do. On 10 times lower price. This team lack decent backup foward so much. We need to reduce playing core time asap. Its ticking bomb. They wont carry like that for 82 games..
   Polishing time more or less is over. Much more decent teams are coming. Lac is such a dark horse. It will punish many teams that wont take them seriuos. And pho will be the biggest test so far. Lets see is kings ready to be a seriuos team.

9. I think we will be getting better as the season goes on and the bench learns its identity and can play smoother. I’ll be going to the game in Phoenix, if anyone else is going to be there let me know so we can say Hi!

10. You kind of brush the fact that Sabonis has a PERFECT triple double of Sabonis. 0 TO and 0 Fouls with team highest +16.

11. Honorable mention to Alex Len of the bench with 4 key blocks. Since the end of last season, he's really found his groove as the backup rim protector.

12. Matt… did you realise that Sabonis's triple double was the first perfect one in history? 100% from the field and 0 turnovers.

13. The Kings offense is far more "well rounded" than 2 years ago. We're routinely putting up 120+ points in most games WITHOUT needing to hit more than 10 threes per game. Not living by the three ALSO means we won't necessarily DIE without the three falling.

14. The defense in that 4th quarter was incredible. I can’t remember ever watching a game where the Kings closed out the final frame in that manner!!!

15. They're still figuring things out. If by game 15 we still dont have our 3s, then I'm considering this team not a 3pt shooting team. People keep harping on "they'll eventually start falling" well it's been a whole season and their 3s arent consistently falling. Game 15 is a good sample size. Also we need to fix our bench.

16. There's a reason why Sacramento is "lethargic", especially during the previous years. It's because the "leader(s)" on the team are inconsistent. Is it Sabonis? The double-doubles, triple-doubles are great but, scoring is inconsistent. Is it Barnes? Again, scoring is inconsistent, great show one game, out sight next game. Is it Fox? Man, this guy can have a superb game then, drops off the planet. This season is no different, if only he is in attack mode Every Single Time especially since his free throw shooting has improved at an all time high, that is the consistency you'd want from this guy, not the 0-for from 3, 2 – 8 last night.

    The inconsistencies were so evident last year, great one game, awful the next.

    This season, the "lethargic" has soften somewhat because of some consistency.

    Sabonis: The double-doubles now comes with consistent FT and 3P shooting.

    Murray: As you mentioned, the double-doubles are now becoming the norm besides the consistent defense.

    DeRozan: He is becoming the glue that makes Sacramento consistent. The rising leader as shown in several 4th quarters now.

    That 5 – 3 record could have gone 8 – 0, if not for some "inconsistencies."

    Fox: That's one "inconsistency". Great some game (30+ scoring), awful some game (0 – for from 3). With his consistent FT shooting, he should ATTACK ATTACK ATTACK, no taped finger excuses there.

    Bench: Inconsistent. If not for Ellis and Monk, this unit would be non-existent.

    + Murray is always a keeper, he fits the mold of Paul George and Kawhi Leonard. Ellis is a keeper, I like him back in Bama and up to now I am still puzzled as to why he was undrafted. I'd like to see one who I think is also a keeper – Devin Carter.
