  2. Some blame should be assigned to the blue line but by no means was that aspect the only one to have hurt the Oilers in that loss to the Golden Knights.

  4. Finally someone willing to speakup about Bouchard on any broadcast. Sure he's good on the PP but he still messes up some passes during the PP. But his defence is atrocious at the best of times and his lack of hockey IQ has been evident on these two plays. Unless you watch him regularly, these mistakes, giveaways and only making 40% of his passes out of the zone is really going to kill us. Maybe the only saving grace here is that there is NO WAY he can command a salary of over $9M. He's way too slow and afraid to get into the mix along the boards on a dump in. What can't the coaches see that he can't be part of the #1 D core with these mistakes. There has NEVER been any consequences for his brain farts. They should be moving him to 2nd or even 3rd pairing D and just use him on the PP. It's not fair to Ekholm to have his stats being dragged down because of a lazy D man who can't play D. Have a look at his facial expressions after he gives up goal after goal after goal. It's that dumbfounded look like "Oh they scored on us again so just get to the bench and sit and think about it." Watch McDavid dive on that empty net goal by Vegas and he slams his stick into the post……….that's emotion and being pissed off. I think we need McDavid and/or Drais to tear a strip off of him for these stupid mistakes.

  8. Bouchard needs to learn how to play defence, Ekholm isn’t able to make up for Bouchard’s complete incompetence anymore. Pretty sure my grandma could play better defence than him. This game was completely on him.

  9. Pathetic Oilers lost the game in the last minute?? Not the first time with such defenders like Bouchard who is not returning from the attack zone

    Pathetic Skinner had a goal between his legs ? 🤪🤪 It is normal for him to concede 3-4-5 goals per game. Coach Knob = "ZERO"🤑

  12. That's why I find it comical that alot of Oilers fans actually think Bouchard should of at least been one of the final nominees for the Norris last year. The guy would make a better forward, he doesn't play defence at all.

  16. On Vegases 2nd goal Eckholm was causation…..Eckholm took the wrong man and screwed everything up,…. Eckholm stuck to the System instead of stepping out of it to take the man closest to him, had the Oilers recognized the playaction then went Man-to-Man it would have not been such a bad ending.

  18. Remember when everyone was just going to give the oilers the cup at the start of the year. Those people overlook the defense and goaltending and just thinking oilers are gonna be the offense of the last 100 years. Warms the heart to see them fail.

  19. I've said bouchard defensively is terrible for years. Yes he's got a good shot and can pass at times, but he's so slow and unintentional in the D zone. He plays like he's too good to try.

  23. Same basic issues as last year. At least Skinner was good this game; but so was Hill. Vegas has scoring all across 4 lines. And now thei blue line is scoring. Edmonton had high scoring last year and a dominant PP. Now not so much. So if they can't out score you, they don't have a good enough D to stop U consistently.
