Great team effort and win tonight, the bench unit really stepped up. Shoutout to Wesley and Branham especially.

i like national basketball association player stephon castle
Tobey just said we didn’t get our 4th win until our 24th game of the season last year. If that doesn’t show progress idk what does. We even beat the Timberwolves on the road. Have some faith Spurs fans. GSG
Stephon Castle.
If the team can win a bunch of games at home within the next two weeks, it’ll hopefully offset the brutal Rodeo Road Trip in February 😛
Great win! GSG!
STEPHON CASTLE
was that Castle’s only turnover for the game?
Biggest in-game improvement is giving Ayton 17 in the first half to holding him to 4 in the second half.
castle is built different 😤
So when do we get the ROTY campaign started for Steph 👀
STEPHON CASTLE !!!!!!!!!!🏰🏰🏰
Castle could be at a funeral or his highest scoring NBA game ever – you couldn’t tell. Lol.
Imagine letting Branham, Collins AND Wesley all score 10+ points. Thank you Blazers
Castle is him.
Hell yeah castle
WE WON! 8 players with double digits is nutty. I had zero expectations for this game so a win is fucking awesome.
I said it before, Stephon Castle has stepped the fuck up in his rookie season, he’s amazing. Also I love that he’s the designated “half court heave” guy, god it kills me when guys don’t even try to throw those.
I hope Branham is okay, the last thing we need is yet another fucking injury.
As an old head that has been a fan since Iceman I think expectations are too high for a lot of folks. This is not a one year jump to playoffs. The team as a whole was more locked in tonight. Things will fall in place for Wemby more once we get Vassell back. Deep breaths and enjoy a win.
Did i just see Zach shooting 67% from three?
Steph Castle was way more talkative in the post-game interview than I expected. Hmm.
Wemby’s offensive production gets picked apart by the media and other fans but no one is talking about his defense alone putting us in top 5 defensive rating. I’m glad that he stays motivated to play defense even during this time where his offense is bad
ON TRACK FOR 77-5
Bench was the real MVP. Hope Malaki isn’t injured seriously.
Go Spurs Go!
Wemby 33% from 3. He will continue to improve
Credit is given where it’s due. Brahnim, Wesley, and Collins played EXTREMELY well.
Castle getting more and more reps will be a monster down the line.
Man….between the injuries, Victor not playing well on offense and worse of all Pop not being there. This season just doesn’t feel right.
Well, atleast it didn’t take us to mid December to get our 4th win of the season.
Good all around effort specially from the bench. Steph has reeeeealllyyy that kawhi vibes. I wanna see the other angle of that dunk lol
Wemby 1 steal and 2 blocks away from another 5X5
The french reporters pulled through once again during the postgame interview with the good questions imo. Victor looked tired to me (def has eye bags and maybe a stuffy nose? he kinda sounded like that) but his mentality seems there still (I know some of you were questioning it). They only asked him two questions in french but here’s the translation:
Q1: Are you disappointed or frustrated with your offense at the start of this season? for example your shots not falling or having the defense tighten you up (not sure about the defense part i can’t hear properly)
VW: There’s no frustration because I know that the staff and I are developing/going in the right way/direction. I take the shots I want to take, it’s the intention that counts, that’s the long-term goal.
Q2: Do you personally identify things that you need to improve? for example when you’re surrounded by wings smaller than you, two or more on you keeping you away from the basket etc
VW: Of course, of course. That’s what we talk about… After every game we’re getting new answers but it’s not necessarily easy to apply. I think the staff is highly competent so they identify well what we need to do.
I will update the translation whenever they upload the postgame interview on the spurs youtube channel.
edit: updated the translation after watching the replay
